Cicada Soup

As many of you may now already this is the year that the cicadas come out of there 17 year sleep, and we will be invaded by millions of them. At work all week we have been thinking of food types you can make with Cicadas and been having a blast with it. Here are some examples - Cicada soup, Cicada casserole, Cicada Pizza, Chocolate covered Cicada, Spaghetti with Cicada. I could go on with more but want to see what you guys can come up with.

On a side note (and rather funny) we just got to animals in my Italian Class and some freshman asks to no one in particular "What the heck's a cicada" only she pronounced it chee-kaah-dah. kind of funny...
