Well on this cool April 15th I packed the kids up and headed out....
But this day really wasn't about these two....
But is all about this one......thank god he fell asleep......
Kids we are here!!!!
It's toooooo crowded, lets come back another day!
So this weekend was Kiddielands annual 10.40 Tax Day. With a coupon from Jewels you get $10.40 off admission. So our main reason is to get the cheap admission and ride with Casey to get him another credit. We haven't been here in about 4 years and it is still clean as ever and kept up very well.
Got to warm him up to some smaller rides first....
When the hell did these two out grow the kiddie rides??????
Cheap Disney knockoff..............Disney should sue!
I love their train...it goes through the parking lot and back into the park.
Little Dipper is warming up???? It has been closed so far and being greased up and cleaned. Funny way to warm it up...those don't look like sanbags to me!!!!!!
It started out with 7 guys riding like this and every time it came through the station one would jump off till it got down to 3 guys riding a couple times around. In the turns the back four would jump off and start pushing it around and jump back in!!!!! Coolest thing I have seen regarding a coaster.
Ran into friends of ours and their two kids
So since the Little dipper was still warming up we took a spin on the Polyp.... this thing is on crack...Never rode it before on my last two visits..(broken).....WOW fantastic ride.
WHOOOO HOOOOO finally got #16 for the little guy and he just turned 2
YEAH for Scooby Doo
ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!
You can't see me!
Damn those people are lucky... being E-vac'd on opening day!
Why do i feel like a bird
Better stay off the sidewalks! Some good Old Fashion Cars.
Thanks for reading about my day!

Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!
Cool trip report. I've never seen one on Kiddieland before so it's cool to see what it actually looks like. Great video on the warm up for Little Dipper. Don't you wish you could just hang on the side of a coaster train sometimes?

yeah, seen that happen once before, they stand or sit there ready to stand to use their own momentum in case the train starts to stall out, I seen video of maintenance standing up in the front car of KW Thunderbolt to grease the track. Was on the now ancient PBS Special Kennywood Memories, now that's crazy

I agree that is a little strange. My nephew is 13 months and I cant wait till I can take him to the park my sister already took him to the park at MOA and he went on the camp bus and the trucks so.... he's a thrill seeker at a young age.

I've seen them do it at Eagle. Yeah, the looks were priceless on EVERYONE's face!
