Just so you know, I didn't come up with that name because of him. I didn't come up with it at all, Lazy explicative 2 came up with it at school (one of my class has so many Lazy explicatives that I just number them, it's much easier.) So no, I'm not copying him, I'm just going along with what Lazy explicative 2 came up with.
Grrr.. I used to like riding SSR.. I tried to go on it again this summer with my friends Nick, Alyssa, and Katie. We were all set to go, in our seats and everything, and the stupid ride op kicked us out! I tried to say that I was a child (since I am unusually short), Nick was my father, and I had 2 mothers (Alyssa and Katie). She still kicked us out. And we waited 20 minutes for that!!
Chitown is right, how could anyone say Whizzer sucks! ShockWave was my favorite ride ever but I still wouldn't say whizzer sucks, its a classic! Don't take it out on Whizzer or Superman cause Shock Wave was taken down, take it out on the people who took it down. If you really care that much about Shock Wave why don't you get a petition started or something to try and have it rebuilt in another part of the park. I called the park and asked them what would become of Shock Wave and the man said "It will remain on the small hill by the employee parking lot for the 2003 season, we currently do not know where this ride is headed to yet. If you like it that much and would like it to be relocated to a different part of the park why don't you get a petition started? Remember we do listen to our customers" So if you want to go ahead, I don't think a petition will bring ShockWave back but theres no harm in trying. But please lay off the Whizzer If anything should go I think it should have been Camp Cartoon Network. Screw the little kids! Bulldoze the sprocket rocket. Muhahahahahahahaha

And where would that get you? There is no way a decent size coaster would fit into Camp Cartoon Network. Instead it would just take the coaster count down and that seems to be all anyone cares about anymore. I liked Shockwave alot but im over it being down, im sure I will like the new coaster more than I ever liked Shockwave. As for Whizzer we all know that Shockwave only bought it a few more years.Complain or petitioning won't bring Shockwave back to SFGAm, its gone get over it. The only thing you can really hope for is that it gets rebuilt at another SF park thats nearby like SFKK, SFWOA or SFSTL.If Shockwave got as much support as its been getting now maybe SFGAm would have never removed it, but when it was up and running everybody seemed to hate it(I not included). Its funny how everyones opinions changed right when they decided to remove it over Whizzer.
Of course the Whizzer isnt the most enetrtaining ride its an antique i believe it opened in 1976 but the best part of it is goin thru the forest but u gotta admit if they tore down whizzer supaman wouldve been awesome flyin thru all those trees
I think that a ride like the wizzer is needed so that the park can please everybody. I just would have wanted superman to be in a wooded area with ponds intead of a parking lot. By the way, has anybody heard anything about theming for superman?
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull
Even if Superman was built in Whizzers area, its doubtful that they would have kept any of the trees. You rarely see a coaster built anymore that keeps all the trees around it in tact. Usually they just clear the whole site for the coaster to make construction easier.
shockkwave was my favorite but i can see why they would take down the first time i went on it i saw people walking away holding there heads (this was on the bridge under the first loop) as if they were in pain, there were over dramatic i went on terrified got off and went right back on, the longest i ever eaited for that ride was 15 minutes and i always go on a summer saterday so yea it did have longer lives but i just waited till it went down[/code]
Yeah, but how much longer will the Whizzer last? Look how close it was to be taken down last season, in a few more seasons they will have no choice but to take it down. The only thing I'm angry about is that you can't fit a large mega looper of any kind in whizzers spot, like you could with Shockwave's land. Oh well, the new flyer will be great anyways.
lol, Coaster dude I was just kidding about the Sprocket Rocket. I think what they did tearing down Shock Wave was the best decision for the park. it never had a line or anything. Bring on the flyer!
maby they could fit a really compact coaster in there like z-force or somthing when they have to take the whizzer down, it looks like a very fun but uncomfortable ride, they should put in some b&m clam shells on that ride! lol hey coasterguygo on aim i wanna chat
Here let's make this real easy... all coasters should stay at SFGAm, none should have to leave, Demon and Whizzer are very special, but they need to add coasters, not tear them out!
For all those people who wanted to see whizzer go instead of shockwave have to realize six flags was just trying to appease the fans when they made there choice. They were going to take whizzer down until they got all of those angry letters saying not to. If they half to take a coaster down I think it should be demon.
coastrcorey wrote:yeah, SFGAm doesn't have unlimited space though! You typically have to have space to put a coaster in... Unless I've been mistaken all this time...
I think they could jam a few more coasters in if they really wanted to. Oh, they didn't tell you, you really don't need space to put a coaster in.
