I checked, and no they are not on the website. Well I guess that removing Flashback is better than just let it sit there and still advertise it on their website.
Okay, I seriously can't find prove of this anywhere and I'm not trying to start rumors, but I could have sworn that they mentioned that Six Flags Magic Mountain is adding a train ride that will go around the park and have three stops around the park. I'm positive I read it on this site, but now I can't seem to find this. Can anyone help me out?!
The reason for bringing that up is because if it's true, the locations of Flashback and Psyclone are both on the edges of the park and might serve as two of the three stations. Which would explain the removing of them "sooner rather than later."

The train idea was put out by Shapiro as a idea during the conference call regarding the sale of the parks. It is possible but by no means confirmed. Shaprio said they were still looking at many options.
Psyclone is terrible so I dont care if its removed. I like Flashback but its too run down. There are some pictures here http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/vi ... &start=550 that show new wood next to Psyclone. To me it looks like Psyclone is going to go under rehab but I could be wrong.
with new trains and a bit of trackwork Psyclone could be a decent ride, but if they dont plan on fixing those 2 points, I hope it is in fact demolished, would serve better purpose that way.

Obviously Shapiro was not going to fix Flashback and Psyclone, so giving them the demolition was a good idea. Flashback wasn't particulary fun on my only ride on it, and Psyclone defines suck. I guess they both could've been good with rehab.
This quote about Psyclone sums it up as far as how the park feels about the ride.
Psyclone will be smashed and scrapped within four weeks, she said.
"She" referes to Sue Carpenter, a spokeswoman for Six Flags California's Magic Mountain.
While I've never been to SFMM, I always hate to read about coasters that wil be "smashed". To bad they could not do something to fix what was wrong with it.
Well, it's nice to see that they are putting some effort into this park after all. Dismantling two coasters that weren't operating to standards (one SBNO and the other being painful) is a good idea for future additions. Plus, i have a feeling that we are still looking at two of the three locations for this new train ride.

that is just talk about Flashback, it's in really rough shape, will probably sit in a boneyard for a year or 2 like Shockwave then be scrapped next time the price of steel spikes.

I felt this quote applied for Psyclone. It really was a bad ride.
No, God spit on Psyclone and plans on kicking it over pretty soon
