A New Hampshire teen and his father have claimed that the Tigger Character at Disney's MGM Studios.
In a video that the family took shows some sort of altercation between the teen and Tigger.
According to an Interview on CBS's Morning News program the teen was taken to a hospital following a "neck injury" more then 24 hours later.
This is a disgusting attempt by these people trying to get money because of the actions of some smartass little teenage punk. Say what you want, but I see this as nothing more then that. I hope that the character involved does not get charged filed against him however its likely.
Meanwhile A union representative for tigger said he was pulled and was choking, adding he was just trying to escape from the teen.
^I agree with you. The kid was doing something to Tigger, and he reacted with the "punch." I'm not taking anyones side here. Both are at fault. But I do hate the fact that they are trying to get money out of this.
Are you kidding me? I'm not even sure if I would call that a punch. The kid even seemed unaffected by it. Not to mention why would a character just punch someone because they feel like it, knowingly in front of a camera.
I think it's obvious Tigger was reaching for the kid's arm and accidently made contact with his face. It's hard to see in those things. I don't think they have a chance.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
After watching the video many more times and hearing what other people have to say about this, I'm taking Tigger's side here. It's obvious now the kid started it.
The family also claimed that Tiger was upset because his guide was not with him and that he was choking in that costume I wouldnt blame him for reacting in that way wearing those Disney costumes can kill a person with little or no room for holes to breathe in. It probably felt like a 100 degrees in there and if the teen was choking him he could have suffocated and died. Poor guy I hope he doesnt get fired or charged with assault just because the family wants money.
The Tigger costume has a zipper and Neck-cowel on the neck. That kid grabbed one of the two pieces and it was a natural reacting by the CM to swing his arm back there to keep everything in place. The line of sight is straight ahead, and there was absolutely no way Tigger was aiming for the kid.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
That kid obviously did something to provoke him, why the hell was his hand behind his head the whole time. That wasn't even a punch. His dad said he had headaches the next morning and his dad took him to the hospital. I feel sorry if that kid ever got into a real fight one puch might kill him. That kid is a freaking whoosy con artist.
Anyways, yeah thats a total bs. It seems so stagged. The camera just so happens to be pointed down UNTIL something is brewing. Also, to be very stereotypical, why does this "hard core punk" want anything to do with tigger? Also, what is the camera man apologizing for so much when the camera drops?
I agree with Feldmen and the union rep. However, they can't just go on the account of what happened to Tigger since there was no escort with him and the only person who can back up the story is Tigger himself, which is sad and is a poor move on Disney's part for not having the escort around.
After reviewing the video multiple times, I noticed there were quite a few guests walking back in forth to the side of them. I know most people aren't that aware of their surroundings (especially at Disney), but you think someone would have seen or witnessed something. To me, it seemed as if the teen made quite a show after the "incident".
It also surprised me that the mom just stayed where she was. Even though she had the toddler in her arms, you'd think that if any child of yours was being threatened or hurt, you wouldn't just keep looking at the camera smiling.
i voted for the teenager because when i looked at the video i didn't see the guy do anything to tigger to be punched over. and if he did do something did he really deserved to be smaked. plus the kid doesnt even look 18...can someone say child abuse?
MOD Edit: Please use proper spelling and grammar at all times

The 99% is probably because of rounding.
Tigger-95.45% which gets rounded to 95%
Teen-4.54%, which really should have been rounded to 5%, but aparently it automatically rounded down.
Well, the best we can hope for is that Tigger gets off on this one, because there are way too many reasons for him not being at fault. For starters, Disney has had many issues with characters "contacting" kids and guests in ways that weren't acceptable and most of them, if not all of them, have been dropped because of the visibility issue with those suits. You also got to think that this wasn't something Tigger was expecting to deal with, so first instincts would be to protect your costume so little kids aren't upset that "Tigger's fake." So yeah, there's no way the kid's gonna win this case!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
