Screamin to Recieve New Loop

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Californ Screamin' at Disney's Califnornia Adventure is undergoing some construction. The loop has been removed so the supports could be changed for the new ride Midway Madness. A new loop will be put in within 3 days.

That's interesting!! Let's hope the loop still follows the shape of the mickey logo. Thanks for the topic!

I dont think the loop is changing at all, they just needed to take off the top of the loop to relieve the pressure exerted on the supports so they could take them out and do whatever they need to do and still have that part of the ride be self supporting.

^No, they are putting in a new loop. I read it in an article. I'll try to find it and I'll post it here.

it's worth noting that CA Screamin's loop is intact again and it reopened to the public today.
