What MIA really needs is a Hyper of some sort to compliment Shivering Timbers, even if it's a lowly Morgan Hyper which are usually still fun.

Here's a beter picture http://photos.pkicentral.com/displayima ... =177&pos=0

The pictures dont prove that X-Flight is going to KI. There is only a small amount of cleared land and nothing more. If a lot more trees get cleared then you know something big is coming but its still bare land. When I see some footers then I would say X-Flight is probably on the way.

Cedar Fair announced its $83 million for additions and improvements for the 2007 season. $10 million is going to King's Island for a new thrill ride. This could be a new thrill ride or it could be X-Flight but we'll have to wait and see.

X-Flight originally cost $15,000,000. Chances are it ended up being sold for $10 mill. It was still in good condition so its a decent price. KI definetly has to remove some more trees; that footprint of cleared land isnt large enough right now for X Flight

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

^Wasn't it under Cedar Fair ownership in the first place? Or do parks still just sell stuff to each other even under the same management.

The coaster wasn't sold. They stated X-Flight would move to another CF park.

10 million cap ex for KI.

My guess is that 10 mill goes for the improvement of SOB and relocating X-Flight to that park (Kings Island).

They still have plenty of time to install X-Flight at Kings Island for the 2007 season. X-Flight was on flat ground at Geauga Lake and it seems the land clearing by Flight of Fear is also flat land.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

With it being December and we don't see any construction of footers yet, I highly doubt that X-flight is coming to PKI. My guess the land clearing may be just a place to store x-flight.

^Clearing land just to store it? Do parks do that? Doesn't sound economically worth it. Okay, so it's mid January, any news yet?
