SFFT has confirmed their new addition.

Just waiting on SFSTl to confirm theirs now.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I like the ramp idea, it's nice to see them make an attempt at great scenery! The ride doesn't look too bad, is that a clone from Six Flags New England?

^Sounds exactly like it. But that wasn't a terrible coaster. Gerastuler is a good brand minus their Wooden Coaster trains.

I dont think having the coaster themed to Tony Hawk is a good idea. Tony Hawk hasnt had much popularity since his first game came out in 1999. Hes almost 40 and I think hes been considering retirement the past couple years. SF should have chose some up and coming skateboader instead. I think its dumb to theme a ride after a person and a skateboard theme would have been good enough by itself.

that's the best part about themeing a coaster, unless it's enclosed there isnt much theme you can put on a coaster, so if the tony hawk thing doesnt work out they can just change the name, the ramps and whatnot will probably be homemade with plywood and whatnot made at low cost and could be easily removed.

Just like Mr. 6's Pandemonium, which is now simply Pandemonium.

Though I saw something on one of the news channels a few months ago, they claim Tony Hawk is still extremely popular despite being right around 40, and I guess he still does alot of stuff, though I never followed him or anything he does at all, never got into skateboarding, I'm still mastering walking, let alone rolling freely on a small wheeled board :)

^ Yeah youre right I didnt think about that. Im not into skateboarding either but Im surprised that hes still popular. I guess it doesnt realy matter what the theme is as long as its a good coaster.

Yes, i agree with you, however you can't look at Tony Hawk the same way you would any other skateboarder. He is to skateboarding as Michael Jordan is to basketball, Babe Ruth is to Baseball, and Wayne Gretsky is to hockey. They don't have to be currently on top or even alive for that matter to be considered the most respected in their sport. I think the stability of the ride's theme is the greatest with Tony Hawk being the skateboarder of choice.

Technically, you could say he is retired now as from what I have heard, he doesn't actually compete anymore. This Boom Boom huckjam tour is basically just putting on a show for guests to watch.

He may be 40 years old but he doesn't look, act, or skate like he is 40. If he can avoid serious injury and stay in shape, he should be able to skate for quite some time if he chooses too.

Regardless, he is the most known name in the sport of skateboarding. Even people that have never shown interest in the sport know the name of Tony Hawk.

^ Thats correct, Tony Hawk also has a clean image to him, and Not some doped up punk like some of the up-and-coming skateboarders.
