Final Goodbye!!

A Off-Topic forum to discuss things that aren't related to the Amusement Park Industry.
Postby RBull4life on December 4th, 2006, 11:36 pm
Was this topic even necessary? I mean, I think it's cool that the guy finally got laid, and has found new adventures in life, but come on, a simple "Good-bye" would have been fine. Instead *sobering* you decided to *weeping* call us nerds. *crying* You know how bad *balling* that hurts. <runs into room crying>

I hope the rest of you do that too. Grow up, cause there is more to life
than Coasters!!

What???? You mean that there is more to life than coasters???? You mean I have just pissed away more than half of my life on just coasters?? NOW you tell me!! Thanks pal.

After wasting time to read your goodbye, WE need to grow up?

Bluntly, this is a vent forum on a site for kids

You are called "immature" but what else are you supposed to be if you're teenagers?
This site does not necessarily appeal to adults and that can be proven by the fact that approximately 90% of the members and moderators are in their mid teens.
There's nothing wrong with this site if it makes all you people happy. Go ahead and do what you like to do, say what you like to say.
Not everybody is going to be attracted to everything you do on here. I, for one, am not crazy about it.
This site is not bad and shouldn't be taken off the internet. It just appeals to a certain audience of a younger generaton and I feel I have moved beyond this stage. I would prefer a forum with people 18 and older. Thus, you probably won't see me posting much on here anymore.
If any of you still want to chat with me, I believe my e mail is displayed and you can still pm me if you would like.
It was fun while it lasted.
Thanks for making me laugh on the Christmas wish list!!
and please, this is not intended to offend you. Just to tell you my thoughts and feelings.

Isn't this a better goodbye?

Um, the Moderators and Admins. definitely aren't in our teens. All of us are currently 21 or older.

And if your a teenager your supposed to be mature, show that you can be respectful and not be immature.

You have turned what use to be a very good coaster site, and turned
it into a horrible, going no where site.

I try and try to come back to see if it has improved and become worth
my time to visit, but alas, it hasn't. Horrible site look, horrible forum look,
horrible Forum Management.

Since I know your still reading the responses to your awesome post, I thought I'd put in my ten cents in order to make you feel special!!

Find me a better, more active SFGAM site.

P>S> You basically called everyone here a coaster nerd, heres one of your posts, probably one of the nerdiest posts ive seen on this site in my long tenure.

I love SFGAm. I've been coming here for years, but even with Superman and the new Mardi Gras area, I still think that SFGAm could improve the park.

How could it improve, you ask? Well, my idea, is to, first, get rid of the black top. During the summer of 2003, I got the chance to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, where they have a light color concrete, and it was great. Clean and cool. When it was 100 degree's out, the ground didn't get as hot, so it made walking easier. So my first idea is to replace the Black Top with light Gray Concrete.

My second idea is to bring back SHOCKWAVE. I know the coaster had problems, especially after the breaking section, but with work, I think it could be fixed and would really bring more people back to the park. Give it a new color, and put it over near Raging Bull.

In addition to Shockwave, they should really invest on bringing a Floorless Coaster to the park. I know there was that rumor that they would bring one in 2005, but do you really think that will happen? I don't. After spending "stupid" money on the Mardi Gras section, I don't believe that they would be able to afford a new coaster.

I believe that if they got a Floorless coaster, I really think that they will start to make more money, and will start to become a steady competitor with the rest of the parks. I would really like to see SFGAm compete with Cedar Point. Also imagine SFGAm with the worlds Tallest rollercoaster, or the with a coaster that holds the record with the most inversions, OR, for the fun of it, the worlds 2nd, 4D Coaster!

What do you all think? What improvements do you feel that SFGAm should make? Should they bring back Shockwave? I look forward to your comments.

Actually, the moderators and admins are currently 21 or older. You probably didn't know that. Thats ok, now you do.

However, my opinion is that teenagers are supposed to be mature but thats just my opinion.
^^^
I would have appreciated this way. ^And this is my point. > I tried to be nice and show maturity and forgive those who don't show maturity. I did not mean to steryotype or put down teenagers. I tried to show that the way they are and act on the forums is not a bad thing, its just not for me. I guess no one realized that.

I would really appreciate being thanked for what I said snce I was trying to be nice and not mean like the other guy who said his "goodbye".

This topic has ended. Thank you.

^Thank you for making that decision about ending this topic.

On the other hand, you post earlier would have been a proper way to say a goodbye MrsVerticalVelocity.

Honestly, I think that a majority of the teenage posters on these boards act with more maturity than I ever showed when I was their age.
