What's up with Necropolis?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby RagingWolf on October 29th, 2006, 7:52 pm
I was at Fright Fest for the first time the other day and I saw a sign for Necropolis. My friends tried to drag me in there but I ran out. How bad is it really? The sign said it was rated "R" and that parental disrection was advised. Why is that? Should a kid who just turned 13 a day ago be afraid of Necropolis?

Then why would you be talking about your age????????? I was 12 two years ago........ That's highly doubtful that you are filling out a "form" to reply in a forum

A form? What is this form that I hear of? I dont think that the webmaster would give a fax number and worry about 12 year olds like that. If you're not supposed to be on here just dont sign up, Tom, the brother of the webmaster who I used to go to school with posts on here too, I don't think he would really care that much about a 12 year old. A fax number for a "form" sounds a little too made up. But of course I could be wrong.

Other than that, go in necropolis, I mean you are thirteen, a teenager now, so as long as you go in before your bed time haha.

The form is called COPPA, and when you register for sites that accept COPPA you have to fax in a signed form stating that their child can be on this website. For here COPPA is not used and we have just made the minimum age to be 13.

Does everybody go into the Mousoleum of Terror or just the trail.

Which is scarier...

Maus is probably scarier, but i didn't go in it this year, so i wouldn't know.

I don't think Necro is all that scary.....during the day. At night i'm constantly watching my back because things coming out of nowhere with blood and gore can freak me out.

^ Nice double post. Anyways... As far as I know, they didn't exactly check I.D. or anything. I saw loads of young kids with their parents in there.

This is what I think. If you're 12 and you want to go "into" Necropolis, go for it. But if you wet your pants and it goes on the ground and then I happend to walk in it, you will be sued!

Okay!!! Let me make this topic officially useful for the poster of it!!!

You'll be okay if you don't act scared. I've learned that the scarators go after people who freak out about it, just act like a man, remember it's all fun and games, and you'll be fine. They don't check IDs, obviously, so you can just head on in, and remember that you can leave at anytime if it gets too scary for you!

As for the Mauseleum, it is VERY good in terms of haunted houses and yes, it is WAYYY worse scary wise than Necro, but that's the fun of it!

The only thing i wouldn't recommend you see here is the Freak Show, i got so angry seeing parents letting their small children see this, you can never really know whether you'll be disturbed by it or not, no matter how much gore or stunts you've been exposed to...i really felt the need in saying that!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(
