Delta Flyer And The eagles Flight???

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

ive always been looking up what happened to eagles flight and the delta flyer i havent seen any pics or any information about the ride anyone know about those rides :?:

Delta Flyer/Eagles Flight were removed from the park in the 80s due to safety concerns after a tragic accident at Six Flags St. Louis. The towers used to support the cables were shortened and used as emergency lights. The remaining towers were scrapped in the late 90s. The Delta Flyer station in Orleans Place was demolished and the Yukon Yahoo was relocated there and renamed Delta Flyer (bad tribute?) but was eventually removed for Condor. The Eagles Flight station in County Fair is now the Funnel Cake place.

I believe the funnel cake place is the south Delta Flyer station, Eagles flight went east/west.

Delta Flyer was the name of the Orleans Station. Eagle's Flight was the County Fair station. Im not really sure why they didnt give it just one name like the Southern Cross (Orleans to [planned] Great Southwest]).

would anyone find pics of those two rides if someonedoes someone can put it in the defunct rides section then have a few pics i cannot find any on greatamericaparks.com

ok well here is one question i always wondered what kind of rides they were i know they are eagles flight is a gondola one but i think delta flyer was too was that true???
