I was at KingsDominon a few weeks ago and wore my dvs shoes there(similar to the VANS and Osirus shoes). I'll cut the details ( iam posting to a Six Flags fan base). The first ride I went on was the Volcano and during the restraint check, the ride op told me that my shoes may be too loose and asked me to remove them. The same thing happened at the drop zone a few hours later. They asked like two other people that was in my ride batch with similar shoes.
Why would a park, all of the sudden get so stingy about checks?
Are the Six Flags doing this too?
Are the skater type shoes now considered loose shoes to the parks?
Has anyone else here have been asked to do the same?
Um, if you need to ask people why loose fitting shoes need to be removed prior to going on an inverted rollercoaster, you probably have no business going on them in the first place.
Its not just skater shoes, its flip-flops, thongs (the shoes) and Sandles. Obviously, so they dont fall off during the ride.
Coasters where your feet are dangling they always make you take off shoes.

Not true! Not on V2, Batman, Raptor, or Wicked Twister! Have you even rode an inverted coaster before msoeagle?
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

many inverted coasters make you take your shoes off if it's a possibillity of them falling off......some rides they may not force you to take them off, but if you want to have shoes to wear later...it might be a good idea.
