SFGAm 10/8 & 10/9

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I will try my best to remember everything that went down on these two great, for the most part, FF days.

On Sunday, we got to the park just before 10. We went to Deja Vu, and I think we ended up getting 3rd dispatch, because we only had a 1 train wait and were just getting in line when people from this site were getting off of 1st dispatch. It was an awesome ride in 7B, so we decided to get back on. This time it was a 2 train wait for the very back. This ride is just truly amazing, and it really gets me going.

Next up was... Orbit. One of my favorite flats. Then we waited 30-40 minutes for "Snakes on a Train." Good ride as always, but a little bit painful thanks to my cell phone in my pocket and some crazy airtime. Bull was up next, with a 20-30 minute wait. I got stapled, and the ride was less fun. :(

The next ride was Iron Werewolf. 15 minute wait, good ride as always. Next was BTR, 20-30 minute wait. I can never get enough of this ride. Then we rode KC twice, since the line was short. We then went to the car to eat. My mom said she was gonna go to Gurnee Mills, and since I had been tempted to go there lately, I decided we should go with. Usually, I HATE taking any "breaks" from the park. This year though, sometimes I really don't mind because I'm not as attached as I used to be.

We got back into the park at 4. We rode Viper again, this was a somewhat better ride than earlier. Then, we waited a total of 4 cycles for Ricochet. I wanted to watch the people eat the cock roaches, so we did. I enjoyed it very much and was very very tempted to go up there and do it, even though it was too late. Next, we entered Necropolis. Yeah, definitely got scared a few times. It's great this year. Then, we went on Monster Mash, and then King Chaos again.

Next up was another ride on Iron Werewolf. It was faster, and definitely more awesome, considering it was night time. We then went into Necropolis again, since it was dark. It was so crowded, there was practically a line to get in. It is so awesome and scary at night, but it could have been better.

Decided to end the night with Vu. It was around 7:40 when we got in line. We finally got on at 8:40, and had a good ride. I just hate when there's no grouper. And it took FOREVER to leave the parking lot.

Monday, we arrived just before 11. Today there were WAYYYY too many annoying kids, especially kids without supervision. I wanted to slap somebody by the end of the day. Instead of going to Vu or Southwest Territory first (my usual reoutine) we went to King Chaos first! Great ride. Then, we had a 20-30 minute wait for BTR. Girls in front of us were really annoying... and linejumpers. Next was IW with a 10ish minute wait. I think it got stuck on the lift hill? Yeah, something like that. It wasn't as fun as the ride on it last night, lol. Last night it was so fast and shaky.

Then, we got in line for Vu. This couple behind us who looked like they were 12 seriously needed to get a room. At one point, they started moaning and fell into us. Anyways, we waited about 40 minutes for the back row. I love this ride! Next was HFM, good ride. We also went on Condor before heading out to the car.

While entering back in the park, we were walking behind really slow people, and I sighed angrily, and this little kid in front of me jumped away and got frightened by me! LOL it was so funny, I said sorry to him though, I felt bad. Then, we waited a while for Viper. The station was chaotic thanks to it having no grouper... oh by the way Deja had a grouper this day. Yeah. Then the ride decides to break down while we're in the station. We waited probably 40 minutes. Some kids with exit passes went to get on the train,a nd COULD NOT decide which rows they wanted to be in (they all wanted to be in separate rows) in the first car. Then, the guy tells them, no, I said the first TWO rows in the SECOND car. Eh whatever... interesting ride. Let me just say that I am glad the camera didn't catch a certain something.

Then we waited about 20 minutes for Bull. An awesome ride in the back row. Then, we went to IW. While in line, this lady wanted to line jump. She said she had to get to her kids and said she wasn't even going on the ride, because we wouldn't let her through at first. I'm just like Why the hell weren't you with your kids in the first place? I'm fed up with these line jumpers.

After going through Necropolis, we went on RC for the first time in months. These really annoying boys were in front of us with stuffed animals. They kept pushing each other and stuff, falling into me, and at one point I almost got smacked in the face with one of their stupid stuffed animals, and he didn't even bother to apologize. Then, we waited 20 minutes for a great ride on BTR. While exiting, we noticed the line had gotten dramatically shorter, so we got right back in line. 10 minute wait. We would have gone on V2 but decided BTR was more important. We didn't have much time left, so we RAN to Deja Vu. We were the last ones to get in line! We barely made it. We got last train of the night. I was a little pissed, because some/most people on the 2nd to last train got to re-ride on the last train. No biggie though, it's not like it hasn't happened to me before. Heck I got to re-ride it 6-7 times on opening day in 05.

So yeah, I had lots of fun these 2 days. Hopefully I will be going on a Friday, and I definitely will be there on the 29th. Ahhh.. only two more visits (and if I'm not so lucky, only one). I think I'll survive this offseason.

So do I. I didn't work Sunday so I only saw it Monday. It's the first time I've ever seen Raging Bull stuck.

I saw that, and I saw the Columbia Carousel, and Fiddler's Flung were broke during the day Monday. Bring back the most reliable ride!! Neither of these rides deserve it. Blood River has haystacks in front of it. I wonder if they are going to open it. To me, it would be just stupid to. Deja Vu was doing good for about two hours yesterday. I was surprised. No misparks, or anything. Dejavugurl is bad luck!

that sucks with people being rude....i hate that. I waited through two queue houses for bull on sunday, and there were so many line jumpers, dan and i considered calling security. It's crazy. The makeout thing is a bit annoying too....i don't mind hugging, and stuff, but once mouths touch, its a different story....and really young people??? ewww

at least you got some rides in, that's great. good tr
