that's not really new, it's been there since 2003 I believe if not 2002. I was at IAAPA that year in orlando and participated in an invite to try out the not yet open ride, free of courge of course and got a half dozen or so rides (also got to ride without the crotch strap which you get very upclose and personal with during the incredibly fast braking process)
It's easily the most intense launch I've ever done, but the ride is way to short, especially for costing $20.

If they are really slow you should be able to negioiate a more reasonable rate to get a ride, I hear they do that sometimes depending on who's working at the time.

I think it's the bungee feeling of being propelled in the air like a sling shot that has always grabbed my attention rather than the speed and all that! I have yet to ride one of these, but my hotel at Universal had a great view of this thing and boy did i wanna ride it! Maybe sometime...
