My mom's company buyout date is Oct. 6. She works at Preferred Survey, Inc. in Bridgeview, IL. but its her title company(PNTN) that is actually buying it out.
I dont think he is trying to weasel his way in, but may be concerned that if the park is open to the public on the days of the corporate parties that the park will be alot busier, i know that was the case this past sunday.

A "buyout" would mean that the park has been rented for the exclusive use of the entity that paid to have the event, and general public will not be allowed entry.
What was on Sunday was not a buyout. Buyouts occur on days in which the park is not regularly scheduled to operate.
Kohl's is having their company at Six Flags for the day Oct. 1 from 10-6. It pays to have a roommate who works at the corporate building
I'll be sure to post any and all Fright Fest related info after I am there the 1st, and don't worry... I won't be stupid saying stuff like "Wow, there is rope and spider webs."
But honestly, if Hellevator and Terror Twister! aren't there this year, is there any reason to go to Fright Fest?
Okay everyone. I told you all I'd post pictures of the buyout I was at today. I was quite shocked to see how much work Six Flags has to do before Saturday. The front is just like normal season, except for a few things in the trees.
Most of the signs throughout the park are up.
Terror Twister! was operating under haunting conditions! My favorite ride at Fright Fest, and shockingly enough, I rode it before Fright Fest!
Hellevator has the sign up. Not working though.
Fiddler's Flung was going - all accessories splattered on the walls.
Iron Werewolf was rocking.
The Necropolis gates were shut and locked.
Blood River's sign was up, but the water was not red yet.
Demon's setup looked 1/2 done. Lights under trees, the front sign 1/2 done, and lights in the first tunnel ready, and on!
Snakes on a Train hopefully is not set up yet. Check out the pictures, there seems to just be fake snakes all over the station. Hopefully there is more. Not too sure what is in store.
Superstition's sign was up, didn't check if it was operating yet.
Monster Mash was ready. Signs up, and speakers ready.
No fog machines anywhere, which is to be expected. The huge tank outside Columbia was ready, slightly hidden by hay.
Rue Le Morge was boarded up much better this year.
Area 51 is back! Most props were set up.
The train had no advertising or displays of anything - I thought it was supposed to be haunted ? The sign saying you are going to Necropolis is up.
I did not ride the train to see how far they were on Mausoleum of Terror, or Necropolis for that matter.
All in all, a great day!
Fright Fest is upon us! Less than a week everyone!
Fun, I go this Friday but I probably won't have any pictures up until saturday or something cause its gonna be pretty late when I get home. Remeber, I do live almost 2 hours away and I have to drop some of my friends of on the way home. But I can't wait!
^It's when a workplace..ex. Chicago Stock Exchange...purchases the park for the night. All the rides, eateries, shops, they're all open for just those who are part of the company. This makes for extremely short lines and rerides like crazy! The only downfall is that even if you have a season pass, you still have to pay for a ticket, but it's never too expensive and it pays for itself with all the reride opportunities.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Well, I've been to two buyouts at Great America. One in Oct. '04 for Accenture where each employee was given two free tickets but if they wanted more they had to be given or buy tickets from their fellow employees who weren't using theirs. That day was great. everything was a walk-on all day. I got around 10 rides on bull, 5 on Superman. Great day!
Yesterday, I went to the Kohl's buyout where each employee could BUY as many tickets as they wanted for $26.50 and free parking. It was fairly crowded. Still a nice day. The weather was beautiful, and the Fright Fest decorations were nice. So was the grim reaper's haunted trolley parade. I was surprised the park did this on a buyout day. Nice touch. I got no re-rides, but managed to get on every coaster except for Whizzer and Iron Werewolf. The only other ride I managed to get on was King Chaos. I was really expecting fewer people, but we still had a nice time.

They do this for practice in front of a live audience. Hopefully they don't stop it where it stopped in Hometown next weekend, as it really clogged up the midway, even on a buyout.
What did you think of the Trolley show? I kinda liked it, but thought the Dr. Fright show in front of the carousel was lame. Dr Fright needs a longer cape.
I thought the reaper's trolley show was great. I stopped and watched it while it was stopped in front of Superman. Then while waiting/loading for King Chaos it rolled through Mardi Gras. The make-up and costumes were very good. The performers all seemed really into it and made it a lot of fun to watch. I did not catch the show by the carousel. I really wish I could make it back for a "real" Fright Fest day, but I'm afraid Sunday was my last visit for the year.
