This goes for anybody that gets their season pass at another park.
IE: St.Louis or Kentucky Kingdom.
Do they send you the 07 season pass in the mail like Great America does, and you just renew it online, or do you have to re-order and re-process it every season down at that perticular park?
I was just wondering because I saw on the website that season passes are onsale right now for the cheaper price, but it doesn't give you the renewal option. That happens to go for all of the Six Flags parks.
From the way it looks like now, it is all new passes and you have to process it at the park you buy it at. It may, once time pass, allow you to renew, but I haven't heard anything about season passes yet, except for the price.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
When they first change the website late last night they did say they if you have a 2006 season pass you can renew it online, but when you tried to order it there was no option to renew your season pass. They have since removed that from the web site. I believe they may still be working on the capability for renewing season passes online. Like they had last year. They got this new company to do there online season passes and all it has caused is lots of troubles for customers and Six Flags alike.
I thought that you could only renew your season pass online if you where with-in a 200 mile radius of the park that you where wishing to renew at. Otherwise you'd still have to purchase the pass at that particular park.
Actually, it is a 300 mile radius. Where I live in NW Indiana, I can get my pass from Great America, St.Louis, and Kentucky Kingdom. We chose Kentucky Kingdom this year because it was the cheapest of the 3 parks. Granted, we did have to drive down there for a day's visit, but it all worked out in the end as we had never been to that park before.
I bought a $50 playpass at Magic Mountain two years ago, which was of course then processed at Magic Mountain. This year in January they let me renew it by phone with a credit card for only $50, and they sent me my new pass in the mail, which I then only used at Great America with no problems. I asked the lady on the phone how many times I could to it and she said as long as the picture they have on file is valid, which is three years for them. I'd like to do it again this year, but I dont think they offer a cheap play pass anymore.
