Next PETA will want SF to "tone down" Fright Fest and discourage people from riding coasters.

^Not really.

PETA is against roller coasters ever since what happened to Fabio on Apollo's Chariot.

Fabio is a model who was on the first public ride of Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens Europe. During the ride a goose was sitting on the track. The train hit the goose and Fabio was riding in the front seat. When the train returned to the station they discovered Fabio's nose was broken.

haha i remember that story
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909
A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Aw come on guys, take it easy on PETA. Calling them freaks on a theme park message board isn't going to do anything. For all you know, they might be calling us freaks because we like rollercoasters.

As far as my opion goes, I think PETA can take some things to the extreme, especially in this case. Cochroaches are just ugly and creepy. Now if the campaign was "Eat a live rat and get front row passes" then I could see them getting involved, because rats are actually animals. But I mean, a bug is a bug and as far as I'm concerned, the world would be a better place without them.

i don't know, i just don't get what the big deal is. If they fear stuff having to do with kids, and if parents dont' like it, then keep your kids out of that section of the park during that time...it's simple really. Chill out Peta people!

What angers me is that PETA thinks they have any say in what a private business does. It's as if they believe they have a right to go to Six Flags and not be offended by something. Don't like it? Get out.

Well to an extent, they do have the right IF the buisness really was being cruel to animals, however, in this case, their argument isn't valid since cochroaches aren't really animals. I don't think they have a chance.

I've seen PETA protests before and I just know they're gonna do something that makes complete jackasses out of themselves in order to save their precious cockroaches.

That could be humourous...people dressed as giant cochroaches lining up outside the park entrance...

In any case, bring some raid. Always good to be prepared.
