I never understood why the evil santa scene existed......

v2guy13 wrote:^you'll love it. Especialy since they dropped the "family" crap. Also be sure to bring plenty of $$$. The huanted houses are usualy $8 a ticket. but its worth it

EDIT:: Do you guys think Necro will be different this year? I think it was awesome last year but they need to drop the bad santa thing.

According to a PR person at SFOG in which I heard a radio broadcast, they are supposed to have it be "family friendly" during the day, and
"fright by night."

In my opinion, they should just have Necropolis, the decorations including Demon, the Haunted Houses, and the Space Shuttle America area be scary areas. The rest of the park should have decorations with no characters. Thus, everyone is happy. There shouldn't be many lamps that are very dark (purple, red), and you can't see anything. People get a little crazy during Halloween, and those lights don't help any better.

The Area 51 is a bad area because of the dark lights. People just walk into me because they are running scared. Area 51 should be where the Space Shuttle America because it even fits with it. Fright Fest is a park for everyone, not just teenagers!! This is why they even have Looney Tunes characters dressed along with Princesses, Scooby-Doo Train, and so on.

Families shouldn't have to be scared out of the park because they are afraid that there kids are going to be really scared. As I said, have the rides like they are (haunted), have the two areas haunted (Necropolis, and Space Shuttle America area), and there are also shows, haunted houses, and decorations. The rest of the park shouldn't be haunted.

The other option (instead of Space Shuttle America area) is to make Hurricane Harbor haunted. They would need a lot of fences (from the parking lot), but they could use the part where the main path is (by the rental tubes, and other things.) In line like now, there could be people scaring you, and there could be some tents that are setup in which people go inside, and be scared all in that line. Thus, this way the haunting stuff (not decorations) is away from the families getting scared away from the park.

What serves better? A park that only caters to teenagers during October, or a park that is fun scary for the families and that can really scare the teenagers. Area 51 is the problem for the park if the park is going to not scare the families away. It's right in the whole section of the park. You can't walk past it, and the Whizzer (a family friendly ride along with Hometown Fun Machine) are family rides. There are also people that are teenagers who probably walk through that area because they are just so scared.

^ I like your idea about Hurricane Harbor as a haunt area (though it will never happen do to lack of money). I don't remember Area 51 being so dark at night. Then again, it could be that my memory is going south.

i think binks drake brought something up last year about how cool it would be to make HH like a Haunted House or something. I think it's a cool idea too. The only problem could be with the risk of people hurting themselves by possibly falling into the drained pools or something.....i don't know.

^yea. that would be cool. My idea on that would be to make HH like a Necro type thing. And they could block off the pools and make the water red like in the park. THey could do a theme like dead lifeguards, and s0irits that died at the water park. ANd maybey have some peeps go down a slide occasionaly and jump out of the splash pool and chase people away. That'd be sweet

Some of fright fest in hurricane would be really sweet but I'm sure there wouldn't be water filled pools. Not only would it be extremly chilly but isn't it already emptied by then?

^ Yeah my wife is out there every Friday to visit her parents. If my son was to ever see that train set, he would never leave. Is it HO, or garden scale set?

I'm working on a Fright Fest video at night when I get bored. I hope to have it on youtube in a few weeks. Kind of to get everybody in the mood for FF.
