An Hour at the Park - August 29, 2006

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby [jonrev] on August 29th, 2006, 6:48 pm
Got there at 4 and it was already emptying out.

First ride was...

This was a common sight all day.

Heading toward Iron Wolf and noticed this...

How often are both sides of AE closed??

Next I rode
Image
They ought to rename this Iron Yellow Jacket because when I got strapped in a f*cking yellow jacket starts buzzing around me and wont leave me alone. The guy in front of me freaked out and got stung.

Wolf was pretty smooth in the back row today.
Image

I still like Wolf over Chang.
Image

So what's the train closed during the parade sign doing at Logger's again?
Image

The Batmobile was looking sharp today (although its windshield is starting to rust)
Image

Didn't these rails used to have GCPW spray painted on there instead of the Batman logo?
Image

Rode Batman in the back row which had some crazy G-Forces.
Image

Rode King Chaos before everything started shutting down.

I called my mom to have her pick me up so while I waited I took some random photos:

(^guess they tore down that little building that housed some pop machines)

^I AM AN EVIL KFC BOX!!!! I'M GONNA EAT YOUR ROLLER COASTER!!!!!!

The End.

Guess SFGAm is cutting hours because they were supposed to be open til 6 but they closed at 5. :?

SFGAm is turning into SFMM, alot of their rides are closed.

Crowds weren't bad, DejaVu had a long line but I didnt notice any long lines elsewhere except for Cajun.

SFGAm still hasnt got Vault in there machines (:(), SFKK and SFGAdv has it already.

Not a bad day. I wanted to go yesterday, but it rained.

How was V2's line?

Dang, I went today too!

Where was everybody?

Morning was great, 5 rerides on Deja Vu, 6 rerides on Batman, another 5 on Demon. Then it got a little crowded.

Then I got a retraction on Deja Vu.

That pretty much made my day. Then I got some lunch did some other rides another 4 on Demon some SUF a couple other random coasters 2 on Bull and Whizzer to finish out my regular season.

Weather was great, crowds weren't bad.

Because at Hometown Station the show is going on and if you were one of those actors would you want a few dozen people walking on the stage when they exit the train? There's also those who get in line.
