Are those electronic fast pass things good and do they work? Is it worth the money? And do you actually recieve the messages it sends you about your specific ride being ready?

Yes that is what i have heard as well.. I also heard if you are schedule for a ride and it goes down it will alert you that it is down. It will then reschedule you for when the ride reopens.

This costs a lot of money. It's $25.00 for one person for the regular bot. The point of the bot is that you get the bot, and scan it. You have to wait the time that the line really is. You just don't have to wait in line though. You can go on something else instead.

They have gold bots which are $50, and they reduce the line wait down. I don't think it's worth it except if you are only going to be at the park one day, and then you have to leave. This is Six Flags Over Georgia's system I'm talking about. Our park was supposed to get this, this year, but it never came through. You can actually see the boxes for these things (where the flash pass person stands) in which the person will give them to the flash pass person.

I does sound a little confusing... especially since not everyone at an amusement park has common sense...

My advice: GET ONE!!! I regret every minute of waiting 4+ hours for KK and it breaking down for the rest of the day. If I got a Flashpass I would have ridden it and probably ridden more than Toro, Medusa, and GASM.

Whats so complicated about waving a green piece of plastic over a sensor and waiting for it to beep?

^well supposedly you have to wait the length of the line just when you're not in line, but knowing people they would come back at the wrong times or something. also line times fluxuate (idk if i spelled that right), and people could end up waiting the hour wait it was earlier, and come back when it's like a 15 minute wait. then they would get mad about wasted money.

^If that's the case then they could ride it with the pass and wait another fifteen to ride again.

I just returned from a trip to SFGADV and I think this system is awesome. If it was not for Flash Pass I most likey would have only ridden 5 or so rides on Saturday when I was there. El Toro's line was a 3 hour wait and Kingda Ka was 4 Hours! Thats 7 hours right there out of the 12 hours they are open. Not to mention all of the other wait times were anywhere from 1 hours to 2 hours. By buying the Flash Pass I was able to get on 14 rides even with the park being as crowded as it was and we actualy left the park before closing time since we acomplished everything we wanted to do! I did see alot of people upset though simply because they didnt know how to use it properly. I did my research though and I think I got the most out of it I could. It was the best $46 I have ever spent at a Six Flags park!!
