Well I was just watching the news and they said HH is closed until further notice because there is someting wrong with the water. Anybody else see this?
i saw it. they said it was being closed because four people have complained that they have gotten sick from being in the water supposely. There has been a lot of people there lately, and who knows what could be in that water....
Now that it's closed everyone that is suppose to be in HH is in the park, making it more crowded, but anyways I heard they were just testing the water, that's all I heard.
I don't know if anyone knows anybody who has had that bacteria, but about 10 years ago it survived in Lake Michigan near Milwaukee and there was quite the outbreak in the Milwaukee area, and my Dad caught it. Vomiting for days, and its said that it can randomly come back for days.
I don't nessarily understand the article, though. The fact that it still may be in the water at Six Flags is quite disturbing, I really hope the state makes sure its not in the water before they reopen.

I found out about it that morning.
With all the budget cuts, they probably ran out of chemicals for the water..
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

The article linked a few posts up clearly states that this bacteria is resistent to chlorine so chemicals have nothing to do with it. This bacteria is carried in by humans and has nothing to do with chemical level. This type of thing happens at public and private pools across the country every year.
They had a article about it in my local paper, it seems that they dont know where these kids caught it but shut down the water park as a precaution. In my city 100 people died and since the reports so far are only about these 4 people you wonder if they caught it elsewhere or many more would have been sick with this condition.
