Just get a 60 gig video.
It's all you'll ever need.

60 gig Ipods are kind of obsolete unless you have movies and tv on your Ipod. The 30 gig is $100 cheaper (for now).

If you have over 30 gigs of music you obviously must not have much of a life if you listen to all your songs.

I've heard that rumor too.
But common, they havn't come out with a new one in awhile? They have made 2 new generations of the iPod in 2 years! Give Apple a break to redesign something else for a change.

If I had to make an educated guess, Apple will either release the new iPod around october to catch the full Christmas season or in January when they have their annaul Macworld conference.

The 5th generation iPod is out today. Games is the newest feature, 30 gb is $50 less too. 80 gb available for $350.
iTunes 7 also debuted, download movies, games for your iPod.
I'd rather be riding the Voyage

New features for the same iPod and a total redesign of the Nano's and iTunes makes me feel that there will not be a new iPod in time for christmas.
