If you could change the trains on any rollercoaster at SFGAM what ride would it be and what would you change about them?

I would make V2's Train resemble Face Off's

I would make one of Iron Wolf's trains floorless and replace the other with a brand new Stand up train. Maybe it will make it smoother. I would also change American Eagles trains to floorless or standup.

Forget Floorless. Make it sitdown like Incredible Hulk. Make sure the harnesses are really wide. Floorlesses are good coaster, because the floor thing is not really that great of a gimmick. So, there's no floor below you. On Raging Bull, it's almost like there's no floor either. So, what's the difference? You are never really touching the floor on Raging Bull anyway.

I'm glad to see someone sees floorless the same way I do, plus think how much it would cost to remodel the station to accomodate the floorless trains, ie removable floor (not much but I don't see it worth it over sitdown trains)

In front row there is a definite difference.

why would you want to change a wooden roller coaster
into a stand-up or floor-less. waste of money, and
theres no room for 4 seats across on both sides.
american eagle is fine the way it is.

although i hate the seatbelts on viper and ae now,
but i just make them ooober loose, so im fine. :]

Hmm, a stand-up floorless. Sounds comfy especially for a guy.

Well, I would make the trains on American Eagle millennium flyers since they are a lot more spacious and comfortable than the ones we have now.

Also, i would alter Demon's seat/over the shoulder restraints so they fit better to the shape of the human body. Either keep the restraints the way they are and don't slant the seat, or keep the seat slanted and adjust the harnesses to that angle. Either way, something just doesn't sit right on those vehicles.

Ahh I hate the seatbelts on Viper....I just super loosen them...I would change the trains on demon to lap and feet restraints....such as on Mr.Freeze...I think it would add some intensity to the ride....

I was gonna say I wouldn't change a thing, but now after reading the above posts, I'd have AEB's trains backwards again. I'm not positive but, I think they made it forwards because of the whole family thing... wanting it to be more for the families. AEB usually had a shorter line than AER did when it was backwards.

I liked it better....That is another thing that should definetly be changed...I heard a rumor that sfgam kicked up the price to keep teens out??...anybody know if that is true...also why is sfgam trying to make a coaster more family like...sure american eagle was the "big ride" i went on when i was little but then i got on bull and bam goodbye eagle....sure the line is longer for red but whats the wait anyway 5 minuetes red 2 minuetes blue??....big deal...backwards gave me a reason to go on the ride and now I have a reason to skip it....

^Teens have the largest disposible imcome and make up a large part of their attendence. If they kept teens out, they may become more family friendly but most likely more in debt.

^Um, no.

A teenager has little to no disposable income at all, they eat outside of the park and purchase season passes and rarely play games. Blue side was going to be changed before any takeovers of the company happened, so don't think it's Shapiro's thinking anyway. Fact is they shouldn't be catering to teenagers anymore because thats what brought them this tremendous debt in the first place.

^Teens do have the largest disposable income, its a fact. Just the fact that they get a season pass shows that. It means they can afford to go to the park more than once.

^Not when you look at it in a business standpoint. The park makes NO money off of a kid who comes to the park 15 times a year with a season pass and season parking pass and doesn't even eat inside the park. The gate should be something that keeps the park in the black, and the facts are that not too many famalies are going to be going to Six Flags more than once or maybe twice per year.

They won't be buying the season pass. They don't have time. Teenagers have an entire summer off of school with nothing to do. Investing $110 in a season pass and parking pass (if you buy it early) for 15 trips to a park which is supposed to cost $55 each time you enter with another $15 for parking doesn't keep a company in the black. Even if they buy some food in the park it probably won't be much.

Ask anyone over the age of 18 how much money they have. Chances are not much. I know that each time I visit the park I am eating atleast one (usually two) meals outside of SFGAm.

I would say on average this year I might have spent $5 per trip INSIDE the park. (usually for cheese fries or a Churro) And about $8-10 outside the park.

I've gone 8 times this season (but compare than to probably closer to 30 last season.

So I've spent about 40 dollars at SFGAm this season. Add that to the $110 I spent in the begining of the season for my season pass and parking pass and that gives Six Flags $150 of my hard earned dollars this year.

The average family of 4 will spend more than that just to get INSIDE the park for one day.

How exactly do teenagers have the most disposable income?

^Just because they don't spend it all in one place doesn't mean they don't have the most. They want to go to great america more than once. Of course they are going to buy a season pass, they aren't going to buy a ticket each time. Yes, families as a whole may spend more at great america, but they don't want to keep out teens.
