The Mountain

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Grabbed my hat and was ready to go!

Image
Hmm.....it's a little late....four o' clock....and we're leaving at seven?

Hey, at least we're going, right?

Image
OOOOoooh....

Image
Okay, seriously...has it gotten so bad here that they need cop cars out in front?

Image
Yay, Tatsu! .....oh...yeah....and Revolution.....

Image
Yikes...those are some offensive plants....

Image
Isn't this where the stairs to Sammuri Summit used to be?

Hey, we only had about three hours to ride rides, so we forked over the twenty bucks for the Flash Pass.

Image
Damn, that's HUGE.
Image
Image
Image
Image

I love it. It's a great ride, much better than Superman at SFGAm. The lift hill is very steep. Plus the view is outragious. Not to mention the forces in that loop. Wowy.

Come out here to ride it, while you still can.

For the first time in forever, Superman: The Escape is open when I'm there.
Image
Image
Sadly, it's line was one hour and forty-five minutes long. We didn't have enough time to waist on a 30 second ride....

*sigh*Maybe next time.....if it's still here....

Image
Hey, Goldrusher....fun stuff.

Image
No Raging Bull to hug, but Tatsu is just as good.

Image
....what ever you say, cheif.....

Since I didn't ride it back in December, I wanted to ride it next....
Image
Riddler's Revenge, yay!

Looks like there was some kind of campout or something....
Image
Maybe it's just the happening place to sit...

Anyway, back to Riddler's Revenge...
Image
Image
Oye...even with Flash Pass this line took forever. We had the worst time in this station. The lights were off....
Image
there were mobs of people.....
and there was trash....
Image
Image
So, instead of just complaining about it, I cleaned it up.

Seriously, they need a grouper or something, this station is a mess (of people and trash)

Image
The ride, however, was amazing. I'd say it justified that disgrace of a line.
Image
Gah.....God, I'm creepy....
Image
Okay, seriously....who would bring a sharpie on a roller coaster?

Although I didn't ride it, I like taking pictures of it....
Image
That's about as far up as it got, but that sill pretty high.

Image
These guys were most excellent. Reminds me of "Doug".

Bangin' on a trash can. Drummin' on a street light.

Image
Yup....maybe next time.

Image
Scream! was next.
Image
The line was so short we didn't need Flash Pass. This ride, for me at least, has never had a line longer than a half-hour. The ride ops get it going out fast enough....and they even only had two trains on the track.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Parking lot coaster or not. This is a fun ride. I don't care what people say.

Image

Image
Goliath was next.
Image
Image
I got to ride with my good buddy And Some Guy, this time.
Image
"Click, click, click click...."
Image
Whoooooooooaa
Image
"AHHHHHHH!"
Image
Image
It's really just a big mess of steel...

Ah, Flashback...
Image
Why does Flashback look like the only coaster that's hiding from the world? I bet if it was out in the open, more people would wonder why it wasn't open...and then complain...and then have it open, yay!

Okay...we got about fifteen minutes left...let's run to Viper

So we ran...
Image
Oooh, pretty....wait...no time....

RUN

GASP.....whew...okay, we made it....
Image
Image
Image
"What do you mean this isn't Space Mountain?"
Image
Hey, it's X....cool....
Image
Weeeee!

Alright. What an awesome day. I got on five coasters in three hours. I think that's pretty good, eh? I sure hope Magic Mountain doesn't get torn down. That would be a big dissapointment. I always have fun when coming here, even though Riddler's line needs to be better.

Anywho,
Image

Oh, and I got a cool desktop for ya's.

Why'd you only get to stay for 3 hours? Otherwise, sounds like a blast.

My ride had a wedding the previous day and had to clean up and we had to leave early 'cause someone in our party had school the next day.

I don't think that Riddler's Revenge queue is that badly organized. They have huge lines to each row. You know how Superman Ultimate Flight has the queues in the station for each row. Well, this ride has much bigger ones. It's probably three times the size of those. It's just dark inside, and you can't really see what's going on. We also have one police in front of our park some of the time. Supposedly, someone said that there were 40,000 people at that park one day this week. Shapiro is crazy to shutdown that park!!!

Um...it is badly organized....they need to have someone at the stairs to stop people from coming in until the station empties out. Not to mention, they were really slow getting those trains out. It was so dark in there, I couldn't find the change I dropped. Even if I did, I'd be afraid to bend down and get it. Did I mention the trash?

Riddler's line was the only bad thing about my trip (aside from the short amount of time we had). I really hope us Southern Californian's have a Six Flags to go for years to come.

Everyone I've spoken to has heard that they are taking it out and all are dissapointed. I seriously hope it doesn't go anywhere.

And am I the first one on this forum to ride Tatsu?

^Suprisingly very rough. It wasn't that rough last December. But still...it's an awesome ride.

i want to go there. I've never been to another six flags park besides SFGAm and SFStl, and some of those coasters look like fun, especially tatsu. i don't see myself going there soon though, and so that may be a problem.
