lights+tunnel=confused

When I went to great america yesterday, I rode demon. In the first tunnel they had lights on in the tunnel. Now tell me, does that not take the fun out of the tunnel?

The tunnel last like 2 seconds. Lights on or off its still a good ride.

i think he meant the first tunnel, like when the ride first starts. I've never seen it on before, but i would think it might take away from the effect of the ride perhaps.

I think a ride-op said those are maintenence lights and were accidently left on.

every time i have ridin the demon the lights were on...then again i've only been on that ride 5 times...i like them on

^You too are talking about the 2nd tunnel lights, those are suppose to be on. This topic is about how someone left the maintenence lights on in the first tunnel (right out of the station).

Ooo ok..well it was probably just some one forgetting to turn them off....I have not been on the ride when the those light were on but I imagine it would ruin that part...(that not being a big deal really)..

Sorry about the thread ressurection, I think I can solve the mystery here.

There is a lightswitch in both tunnels to turn on the emergency lights for when maintenence is working on the track or a cast member has to go down and navigate his way through to host a train. Therefore if you ever see the little white lights on the cieling on in either tunnel, someoeone forgot to turn the light switch into the "off" position.
I know its complicated :lol:
