No Superman?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Does anybody know why Superman is not represented in their Justice League comstume characters? I have always wondered that. I would think that Superman is a more well known superhero that The Green Latern, or Flash.

My only guess is that DC Comics hasnt allowed his likeness to be used in the park.
Im sure if SF could use Superman they would, it would be much better to get a picture with Superman and Batman, than Batman and Robin.

Maybe theyre driving attention twords the other characters who dont have their own section of the park like...oh yeah their own coasters...

We dont have a greenlantern, wonder women or flash ride so the characters walking around focuses childrens attention on them. They see the SUPERMAN & BATMAN coasters so they know theyre "there"

The Only think that I see they are not doing it is because their might be some clause in the contract with Time Warner about Introducing New Character When a New movie comes out.

It's the movie!!! I was trying to understand why they can't have a Superman character when the movie is around, and I think the reason is because people would see him, and go to the movie instead of going to the amusement park more. This seems stupid because you are already at SF.

No, its not stupid. If I was walking around six flags and saw superman I would be like "o man! I gotta go see that movie!" and leave, and I think that the rest of the GP would do that too. It's just logical is all.

end sarcasm

Lets make a petition, or just all go to the park dressed like superman.

Its because of the movie. There are certain restrictions behind the rights to characters when a movie comes out. Like if the justice league were to show up when Batman Begins came out, there wouldn't have been a batman.

Batman would have been at the park movie or no movie, im sure it has to do with licensing and SF doesnt hold the license to having a costumed Superman in there parks.
When the next Batman movie comes out in 2008 im sure Batman will still be in the parks if SF owns the rights like they do now.
