The Preview for HALO 3 has been out for a while now, just wondering who will get it, play it, or hate it.
Here is the link for the preview...
http://www.bungie.net/Games/Halo3/ I will buy it, stand in line at midnight just to get it too!
I will be there opening day, I have XBOX LIVE it it so fun on live. If you dont have XBIX LIVE you dont know what you are missing. Yoy have not played halo 2 until you got XBOX LIVE.
XBOX Live sucks. I had it, and as a free service it would've been nice, but for $49.99 a year it's not worth it, when PS online is free. And Halo cannot be played without less than 4 players.
My answer: definitely. I can't quite afford a 360 yet, but I'll be waiting at midnight just to get the game. I guess I'm a little obsessed, but I already know I want the game. They're finally going to add flame-throwers!!!!! New vehicles too..
But it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people complain it's the same crap with new levels. It's part of a trilogy, so they can't go off in a random direction because there's a storyline and a plot that have to be kept in mind. You can't expect a mind-blowing game-revolutionizing release for the same storyline. Though it is still pretty amazing what they did.

Are you kidding me?!? The $50/year goes to server storage and integrity management--making sure everything's safe and secure. PS online, as I remember, allows even dial-up users to connect (and here I thought that was something only available on Dreamcast, because of its timeframe) . If you like that sort of lagging, then by all means continue playing. But who even releases online play without sound?!? Everything's been a part of Xbox LIVE from the start, to insure optimum fun levels and actual decent playing.
I know I'm going on a rant here, but I'd like to continue. Halo can be played with less than 4 players. So big whoop, you have to invite someone instead of just clicking "Quickmatch." It's still possible, and a lot more efficient than what PS offers. PS2 is simply too outdated, and doesn't compare because of the numerous deprecated attributes. Seriously--even the N64 has 4 controller ports.
^don't get to over excited. The Flame Throwers have not been announced, nor the vehicles, but do plan on seeing them, because they will possibly be there.
Ah, but it's hard not to get excited.
Of course nothing's ever announced, but most of the information coincidentally becomes true--we can only hope the same goes for the flame throwers, at the very least. They were going to be a part of Halo2, but were taken out at the last stage.
Though, a new game means I have to start over at level 1, just as bad as I was... oh wait, I mean as I still am*
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"
Yeah I will be getting it only for it's multiplayer. I don't have much hope for it's single player after I was bored to death after playing the first two.
