Coaster Designing Game

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.
Postby FRD714 on June 19th, 2006, 4:31 pm
The winner is Sedir with Joker's jinx. Congratulations!

This weeks theme is brought to you by mschultz5...

Many of you have been wishing that SFGAm would put in a floorless for the longest time. Now, here's your chance to show them exactly what you want! Your task is to create a floorless roller coaster that could go in Southwest Territory. For it to be scored highly, you MUST spend time theming it to fit into the Southwest surroundings. Because of SFGAm's limited space, this coaster will be confined to an area of 20 x 25 squares. Do you think you can design the best floorless out there?

Notes: I understand southwest territory doesn't really have much space, but we can just pretend.

***DISCLAIMER***: This contest actually has nothing to do with Six Flags Corporation. It is purely fictional.

Wait, so do we just theme it to a western theme (like Southwest Territory's) in the 20 x 25 area? Or do we somewhat recreate Southwest Territory and build the ride in it (with the same area)?

My entry is Tumbleweed. It was inspired by Iron Wolf and Batman The Dark Knight.

^Sedir, imagine this 20x25 area as being completely set off from the rest of Southwest Territory. This is your area to do whatever you want with it. Well, check that, not whatever you want, whatever you want that is still Western.

And so nobody gets their panties all up in a bunch this time around (FRD  ), I won't be posting any ratings until the deadline, therefore I am completely fair and unbiased with my ratings.

That is all.

It's 25x20 blocks as required, I'd have it available except it won't let me for some reason. Enjoy.

um Jon Revelle, i dont think you built that, because a few years back i downloaded a shockwave recreation and it looked just like that, and they spelled ShockWave like two words, busted. it that way too, but it didnt say your name on the download.

^We already came up with that idea months ago and it wont work. It would just be a popularity contest.

And thats not your final scores. Once mschultz rates, it will be averaged. If you still have a problem with your rating in the end, dont play anymore.

Why wouldn't it work? Rating rides at the end isn't a popularity contest it's just fair to the rest of the people who both enter before and after the voting.. Now anyone else who wants to vote knows that you're expecting more themeing and will get higher scores..

really surprised how he gave ''tumbleweed'' a higher rating than mine. Look at the scenery. All he did was put up pre-made buildings. Not trying to be rude or anything..

Well we can give it a try I guess.

^And forget the score. Theres no prize. If I was giving away something, then you would have every right to be complaining right now.

Who gives a crap? As long as doesn't favor one highly over the other (unless it's better) who cares? I mean, it isn't for prizes anymore.

Hey, eross or coasterdude12-2, would you mind putting your rides up for download? I think it's necesarry this time around to make sure that the rides fit in the space given. Thank you.

Also, it would help from now on if anyone else wishing to enter the contest would make theirs available for download.

If I recall, can't you just save the ride itself, and then view the square footage?

Then just have them take a screen of that.

Bam.
