SuperNOVA, I played it. It was one of the best mixes ever! Except for DDR FOREVER That machine was carzy, and you had to wait in line to play it. So much better then any DDR machine. Oh and I have been hearing rumors In The Groove 2 is coming to PS2 late 2006/early 2007. Many say That In The Groove 3 will come out this fall. No one knows for sure that for sure.

So if it's the best mix then why are two of these videos showing how sucky the pads are?

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=ZMatrix

Check em out.

After WinDEU passed Faxx the pads started acting up, and thats why they suck horribly.

WinDEU is the one of the best players in the area...since LilQ moved and all.

By the way, ITG2 CS and ITG3 AC aren't rumors, Kyle Ward officially announced it at NAT '05

NOTE: Videos taken by me.

wow you are truly an idiot. Just because The dance pads are broken does not mean the game sucks, it just means the censors broke. It was played some many times, it finally broke. Oh and In The Groove Ones break all the time. LAZER X, the whole first dance pad is broken. Gameworks, 1 and 2nd dance pad is busted. Plus That machine was a Beta version. its not even out yet. It wont be out until Jult/september.

It dosen't mean they are broke, it means it's a really crappy BETA version.

Also note how over 20 songs are off sync in the game.
OVER 20 SONGS!!!!

I play at Lazer X once a week, that pad IS NOT broken.
NOT BROKEN.

Great it was a BETA version, but it shows how much Betson really cares about making a dancing game.

The sensors aren't broke, they are over sensitvie. And it's really annoying if you play flat footed and you keep getting pad misses and greats and such because the song is off sync or the pads just suck.

And can I say this again...IT WAS 3 DAYS AFTER SUPERNOVA WAS AT BZN!

Sure, they were broken already.

I've played it.

I think it's a waste of money.

#1BETA's are meant to test the reaction to the game, not the game itself.
And Betson got a bad reaction because they half-a**'ed it.
The ITG2 BETA only had two really off sync songs...Liquid Moon and Lipstick Kiss.

#2The USB Slots at Lazer X work ALL THE TIME. And if the 1P side sucks soooo bad, then why did I ***(99.29%) Tribal Style Expert on that side? And how did my friend S Delerium Expert on that side?

#3C-Mods are cheating.

Maybe I should just play you at Lazer X one day...see how this goes...

I never said I was the greatest, I play because its fun, and maybe one day I will play you. But really its a BETA version. Everyone said it sucked. My home versions are always off. 5 In The Groove Songs I have get screwed up and are off beat. It happens. My Ultramix 3 songs get off too. Its just because the disc is scratched.

Pardon my DDR-ITG-massive-dorkness ignorance, but what is the point of playing a dance game when the songs aren't in sync?

I'm a fan of playing anything doubles, and if it makes me look constipated, is hard but isn't fun, or just plain old flat out is a bad song, i won't play it. Dance games are for dancing and having fun. As an actor and an all in all theatre person, I don't think raping the bar or playing constipation songs is really that cool. Do it to prove you can, and then get back to looking cool by dancing. ITG2 has some awesome steps that only a few songs on DDR have, but you gotta DANCE.

to quote dane cook "Screw guys tonite, screw guys, i just wanna DANCE. We can all stand in a circle around our shoes and our pocket books and just DANCE"

Crappy pads, complaining about crappy pads, and people that argue about the crappiness of pads...thats part of why I don't play DDR as often as I used to......

I play DDR/ITG because I like to. I know how some people feel. I hate people that think they are better then you, I hate people that go on the pad that your not using and use it. I mean people are stupid sometimes. I play The game just because its fun, and a great workout. You know and maybe one day I may open an arcade with DDR and ITG machines in it, because that dedication.

That is dedication. I know what you mean about people thinking they are better than other people because they know more. But thats ok, pride goes before the fall.

well if anything I know more then them. Its funny to say that, but its true. I own all of these games, so I knoe more then most people when its DDR. DDR, ITG, and Beatmania is my life. But the dummest thing ever was when i was playing DDR a kid pushed me off the pad while I was playing and started to play for me. what a dumbass. He got yelled at by the people that were watching me play. I also hate when people say they are better, and they give an excuse not to play. "I don't have any change", "I hurt My foot". Thats a bunch of bull. Its only when they have thier girlfriends with them too, which its funny because its a game! lol. But people are wierd sometimes.

Let me get this straight...

So you're saying that if I had more than you did, I'd know more than you?

See, I'm not one of those people who give an excuse.
I'm the one who goes up and says, "Yeah, I'm better than you."
Usually I'll beat 'em too.

And two kids on this thread most likely to become friends have now become...enemies.
I've been playing DDR longer than both of you..so maybe Im the one who knows more?
But i'm not about to argue the fact because frankly I could care less. To be honest...you're kinda well, worse than most dorks I catch playing that game... I tried to get Joe to play freestyle, because before ITG came out I was trying to help FS get back on its feet, but then it was too late.

You know more because you have the cash to buy a bunch of crappy japanese video games?

Say that outloud to yourself just for moment...

I love DDR, I like to dance. DDR is the one time I don't look stupid doing it.(except when I fell at OFW the other day, but that's because it was like, 3am)
I yell at bar rapers (unless its actually a hard song) and people who attempt to matrix and people who stomp so hard the machine shakes and people who cut in line. DDR, just like juggling, just like SFGAm and coasters, has its own society around it. There are certain Taboos to each and certain topics of argument. POVs and One click rides are like bar raping and matrix walking which are like numbers juggling and bragging. I don't know alot of people that are a part of all three of these societies, so I'll stop with the juggling references...

Basically, once DDR or anything, becomes important enough to you that it transforms from a hobby to something you talk about on the internet, well, watch your back. Something you thought you invented, something you thought you were really good at, something you thought you knew everything about...you will soon find that you ARE NOT THE BEST and the fight over who knows the most is in VAIN (and I use that word for the double meaning, thank you very much) because there will always ALWAYS be someone on the internet who knows more about it than you.

And thats why both of you are stupid and I'm better than you.
:P

Just kidding boys. I'm not that much of a nerd.

So anyways...I play DDR, its a pretty awesome game. I hear they have it at SFGAm, what do you think of it?

you have not been playing DDR more then me. I played since it came out.

But otherwise I agree with everything else you said. But buying crappy Japanese games. I play these games because I like them. Guitar Freaks And Drummania, Me and my best friend play that every time he is over. Beatmania is just as good as DDR, and DDR, who does not want the japoanese versions? They are way better then the U.S. ones.

Not to get in the middle of this flame war or anything.

How old are you? In the picture I estimate around 14 or 15. If thats true, did you own a Dreamcast? From that picture it didn't look like it. Did you know that the some of the first DDR home games were on the Dreamcast?

And if you've been playing it religiously since it came out, why is he better than you?

"you have not been playing DDR more then me. I played since it came out."

Who are you to tell me whether or not I have been playing longer than you?
Seriously, I'm not going to let some punk 14/15 year old kid try and tell me how much better he is than me because he has all the games...go to a DDR forum and try and pull that off.

To be honest, by your standards, you probably ARE better than me at DDR and ITG. But y'know what, I play FS and I play Doubles. I'm not a PA freak, and I don't go for the AA or AAA. When it comes to be an all around player, I'd say I'm pretty darn good at DDR, and better than most, but not the best.

If you've been playing since it came out, how old were you when you started playing?

What the hell?

You have more than me, how does that add to your skill?

Thats like saying I have more cereal in my house than you do, so I know more about it.

I don't care what games you have, or how rare they are. I'm still better than you.

We could go on a machine right now, and I would probably win.
Wait, I would win.

By the way, your metal pads suck. They will die soon, oh wait, they would have already if you were better than me.

I seriously just wanna play you on a machine right now.
And win.

I'm done taking my anger out on such a "know it all" like yourself.

Stop it with the talk and just face me on a dance pad already. Kay?

EDIT: By the way, 5th Mix and Disney Rave aren't hard to find at all.

Wow, I definately want to see this showdown  . Anyways, I am pretty new at DDR (usually play on medium on PS2), but I haven't played ITG. I am, however, an avid gamer and I try to keep up on the times. I recently read an article about a game to come out in September (I think) called Dance Factory. Now there's an idea I like. Basically, it is a game that lets you put in your own cd's and it creates a (supposedly) good step pattern to dance to it. What's everyone elses thoughts?

Well if the showdown happens...cameras will be rolling. :)

The whole Dance Factory concept traces back to when the game first came out. They had a program that you somehow got onto your Playstation, put in a CD and it made a pattern.

I should try this out..wonder how it responds to 500BPM songs.
