But if they drilled holes to put something in there, and then cover up the holes, wouldn't the supports be stronger?

alot of times they fill the supports up with stones to reduce the amount of noice and vibration they create when the coaster is running.....makes it quieter and stronger as well 8)

Yeah, but no one has said that the supports of DejaVu are weak! The problems have never been structural, they've always been mechanical! (So there would be absolutely no reason to alter the structure.)

Ok I went to the park once again today Deja Vu was testing alot today I know that at least it tested 100 times proably more than the do on a regular operating day lol. This is what i think happend the first day they tested the first tower and the valley/saftey breaks. The second day the tested the 2nd tower and lowering it down to the valley platform. Then today they tested all of the track and other stuff. It didnt even vally at all I dont think.Today we noticed they were training ride ops from Demon how to operate the ride. I wont say names. I already know some people who are gonna be working Deja Vu when It opens. They were also for some strange reason testing the Air gates as well lol. These are very good signs that opening day is very soon. My guess is that Deja Vu will open on Saturday or Sunday depending on the Weather. And if not this weekend early next week. YEAAAAAA :D Check my site later tonight for an update and with lots of new pictures. :D :) :o

Hopefully I'll get a couple rides on it next week. I'm gonna be going alone with my dad for the first time on Thursday and he's sorta afraid of rollercoasters. He agreed to get on Deja Vu first so he'll be ready for everything else :D

I can't wait until I get my first ride on it!! :) :)I've been to the park six times since Deja Vu was built. It was open only one of those times. I got in line, and it broke down three mins later, and didn't reopen

No, you only have to change it after your second ride. Just ride it once, and never again. Then you're set.

The little "lines" or "holes" that you see are really welds. When B&M (or most companies for the matter) makes their supports, they use whole metal tubes. When Vekoma makes them, the Weld a piece of metal in an elongated coil and then cut the ends to proper degree (at least on the Deja vu series).

To all those who are saying they are going to be the first on Deja Vu:I was the first one to ride Deja Vu during the 2002 in the front row and the last person to ride Deja Vu during the 2002 season in the front row (and im still the last guest to ride Deja Vu in the front row to this day :) )....does anyone care? The answer = NO. So being the first one on Deja Vu for the 2003 season really doesn't mean anything lol.

Actually, I do care. That's quite an accomplishment, CD316, as is 52 rides in one season. I wonder if anyone else beat that.I'm curious as to whether Superman, in just over half a season, has been operational for more days than DV over 2 and a half seasons. And if anyone cares, I think DV is better.

yea...i know some people who have beat 52 rides on Deja Vu, coasterdude~ were you at last blast then? maybe I saw you there, because I got one of the last rides (i think) because right after that I ran over to Raging Bull right before they closed up the gate to make it my last ride of the season...

Ok another update today they didnt test as much as yesterday but alot was done. For one the all the ride ops that needed training got trained today. They were testing the gates and the SPEILS its been so long lol. Also they emptyed and removed the water dummies one car at a time. When ever it tested with less water dummies Deja Vu got slower it was scary. Me and brad thoguht It wasnt even gonna make it thorough the cobra and the return trip with no dummies but it did . I would say the did about 50 tests today. I am pretty sure Its gonna open tommorow  .AND ME AND BRAD WILL BE FIRST    hahahaha
