Coaster Designing Game

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.

Need a third judge? All great things have 3 judges (American Idol, Iron Chef America, etc.), so why should this great game be any different?

Plus, what could be better than Mike, Frank, and Mike?

Sorry for the late post.

This week is: Build any Six Flags Rollercoaster. Must be at a Six Flags Park. You must also include a photo of the real ride as well. We like to see theming also.

You may use any roller coaster game.

All coasters will be judged as they are submitted. The deadline is sunday June 18 at 6:00 pm. Submissions will NOT be accepted after that time.
Thank you and good luck.

Score: 8.8

Alright, the coaster i chose was the DEMON. I used RCT3 to make it.

THis is the station, actual car lines (hard to see but there) and operator house and stats
Image

Side of line and the exit of the first tunnel out to the lift hill, i tried to use the biggest bushes i could find on the game.
Image

Top of lift hill, turn around, first drop, and first loop, and part of the mini tunnel before the second loop
Image

End of mini tunnel, second loop, and begging of the main tunnel.
Image

End of the main tunnel, block section (its short i know, i ran out of room), waterfall tunnel (i couldnt make the water fall because the top was too narrow so there's just a body of water.)
Image

The two corckscres WITH a fence around them just like they do.
Image

And finaly, the last break section and exit ramp.
Image

EDIT: Oops, forgot the real photo
http://www.sfgamworld.com/gallery/Demon/Demon4
I really hope you guys like it, it took me about an hour to build.
YEA!!!! THREE MONTHS TO GO!!!!!!!

Nice work. Layout is perfect and you got most of teh theming down, but I think there shouldhave been more trees around the area and possibly some more theming as walkways and such.

So I didn't feel like doing an SFGAm ride so I did Joker's Jinx instead.

Click on the pictures to make them bigger.

Very cool sedir. I know how hard it is to do a coaster like this since the track is so close together.

Alright, here goes on my ratings. We'll start with Iron Wolf.

--IRON WOLF--

The theming on this ride was excellent. You did very well with the surroundings on Iron Wolf (even though it's just mostly trees) and the station looks good. The layout of the first half was good, but the second half seemed a bit off. I don't believe there's an uphill area before the corkscrew, and the whole second half seems more stretched out than it is in real life.

Score: 8.2

--SHOCKWAVE--

Once again, amazing theming. This was the best theming-wise out of all the entries so far. The parking lot was done to perfection and the custom supports were excellent. Layout was good too. I was going to give this an extremely high score, until I read the stats and noticed your highest drop is only 108 feet. That's just a bit off. Other than that, excellent.

Score: 8.3

--DEMON--

I'll start with the layout on this one. Overall, it seemed pretty good to me. There really isn't much to making a Demon recreation, but you did very well on it. In my opinion, the theming was lacking bigtime. Where's the path that goes right under the brake run? I don't think the station is that high off the ground as well. I may be asking a bit much here, but a train track would've added a lot to the ride as well, especially the part where it goes under the corkscrew. Custom supports at least on the lift would've also helped.

Score: 7.9

--JOKER'S JINX--

This was very good. The layout, judging from a few photos, was very well-done. I'm just amazed that Vekoma (and now you) can fit that much track into such a small space. I loved Rock n' Roller Coaster, and I believe these have the same layouts, so I'd love to experience Aerosmith's ride in the outdoors, which is essentially what this is. The theming you did on this ride was excellent as well. I like the block brake's tunnel-like part. I also liked your station, it was very well done. If this contest was just up to me, you'd get the gold. Great job.

Score: 9.1

P.S. - I think you will all enjoy next week's game. Of course, it was created by yours truly.

Well the reason I made an uphil section before the corkscrew is because the corkscrew itself isn't high enough compared to the previous drop so basically I'm going for ratings on that one.
