Not many details, though it looks like a busted up axle caused the rear car to seperate from the rest of the train and tip slightly on the final brakes.

I guess even the lamest coasters can muster up an accident :)

Thank goodness that no one was seriously injured. Can any of you imagine if something like this was to happen on a ride like Raging Bull or even Deja Vu? That would be very scary.

Wow. This can't be good for Valleyfair..that park definatley needs some positive feedback, and this doesn't help. I really liked the Wild Thing when I went there (not as good as RB though).

I heard this from a guy at work today! It seems kind of like a surreal accident, like something from that Final Destination movie. Good thing no one was really hurt from it.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(

Same manufacturer and designer as Steel Dragon 2000, and both of them had a problem with the undercarriage of each train.

Coincidence? Lets hope so. Intamin does enough damage to the reputations of hypers, we don't need another company joining the fun.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Good point. I didn't think of that. Those are both Morgan coasters, and Steel Dragon is pushing 3 years of downtime because of it.

I can't believe that you two (Galvan316 and EagleFan344) are arguing over something so petty and meaningless. Who cares which company has the best coaster? The main issue at hand is that people were hurt on this coaster. Let's just be thankful that no one was seriously injured.

Isn't it amazing how people are not entitled to their own opinion on forum boards.

I never said that no one is entitled to "share out opinions". What I am saying is that the two of you are conversing about something that has no relevance to what the original topic is about.
