Alright, some of you may be wondering what happened to all the posts in this topic. But first let me state that the original topic was made by "BMan231" when he noticed Deja Vu's train was on the track on Sunday July 20th.Moving onto how I screwed the topic up. The topic was originally posted in the General Coaster Talk forum, and when a mod moved it they left the shadow topic in the General forum. Well this messed up the Latest topics list. So as clever as im not, I tried to fix it by splitting the topic. Well one mistake after another lead to me losing the whole topic. Im sorry about that. MY BAD So back to the topic we go.Heres some pics HolyDumb took of the ride today. It has started testing.http://groups.msn.com/kylecoasterworld/sfgamjuly22.msnw
Today It tested 7 times while I was there (9:20-6:00) and 2 of those 7 the circut was compleated with out any problems. They were testing alot of things today. They tested the safety breaks, 2nd towers catch car. It vallyed alot 5 out of the 5 but I think they were on prupose well I hope so . I hope they get all there tests done soon. I wanna ride it its looking very fast for some reason.
Well anytime Deja Vu vallies and it doesn't end up over the wood platform or in the boomerang means that the ride worked the way it was suppose too. My guess is that they were testing out the brakes and stuff, but I could be wrong.
Well, I'm happy to even see the train... I wonder if they could get it open by Friday... Hmmm. Oh well, it seems doubtful, but I guess it could happen.
i went on monday and they weren't testing it but there were like 6 different guys working on it. sorry i didn't get pics.. i didn't have any batteries for the digital camera and i couldn't find the cable to upload them anyways. so sorry for that, i thought i saw someone say to take pics when i went. the trains were on and they were working on it when i was there so hopefully it'll be open within a week or so.
Need a break from college homework.. 2004 season, come faster!!
The way it look by testing you might as well get your hopes up. the ride was preforming alot better after the 1st test. My photos are up at: http://www.sfgreatamerica.com/Deja%20Vu ... ery.htmMod Edit: Added direct link.

Or it could be the bloches of paint they added. In the sunlight it probably reflects a different shade of blue than the rest of the ride. Or I can be too tired to even tell, and be absolutly wrong. You choose.
I don't know, but it looks like they did something with that support. Som eone a while back said something about filling it up with something. I am not sure though.
ya my dad like 4 weeks ago said that the bd paint job is because they drill hles threw the suport to reduce stress then fil it back up. i doubt it is trueand i didnt blive him but now i am starting toMod note: Please use proper spelling and grammar. Thank you very much.
Holes? Huh? I never saw any holes yesterday, and we watched the thing for an hour. If they were adding supports, why the heck would the be there. I am thinking that is an illusion, drilling holes in the supports would only weaken them.
