Transfer Tracks

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

While wrapping up 3d-modelling work on S:UF, I realized that I have no idea how a transfer track works.

On S:UF, there's a car barn with two spaces inside, but how do they transfer to the main track? I didn't see any switches on it, or a sliding track, like on Whizzer.

You see that abnoxiously noticable "rail" after the brake run and before the station?

That "rail" slides over the piece of track underneath, where, from there, the train can be sent into either of the two sheds.

in the room in the back... (transfer Tracks)

Image

the transfer track slides forwards and then slides right to connect with the main track.... then the train moves forwards and the transfer moves back into the storage box...
