Several websites are reporting that Mr. Six was spotted during a commerical shoot at SFGAdv.

Picture taken from SFGAdv this weekend

Could this mean that Shapiro and Co. are revitalizing Mr. Six??

This is interesting....

Earlier during the off season i would have been all for keeping him, however, i think they finally got people to the stage where they don't miss him as much so why ruin their progress. i say no.

Hes still in the water bottles maybe hell promote that. Or maybe hell get run over by that cart next to him and then get trampled by a bus carying the Justice League announcing their the new characters at SF that would make a good commercial. Will have to wait and see what happen to him again..

i'd like to see him brought back. i miss the song, and seeing Mr. six in the commericals. the commericals just don't seem fun anymore....they're just a bit dull to me. I really like mr six and his marketability, so i say bring him back....

Shaprio's comment in the 1Q conference call was about re-branding Six Flags and that " a bald scary looking Mr. Six begging people to come to the park" was not the way they wanted to go.

Given that the call was only a couple weeks old, I would be suprised if Shapiro has about faced this quickly.

If he has pulled a quick turnaround on Mr. Six, then it makes me wonder how serious he is about changing other things in the company. It also make me question his faith in his overall strategy to turn the company around.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

The sooner they get rid of him and the song that goes with him the better!!
My guess is they will still use him a little for a year or two because of the all the money that went into promoting him last year and the name recongition that he has. Then hopefull he will fade into history and be forgotten!

Shapiro said long before the parks started to open that they would still use Mr. Six but on a limited basis so he hasn't changed his way of thinking at all.

Question his faith? Besides the assisine idea of the no re-entry policy which was quickly changed, I see nothing wrong with what he has implemented. At least he backs up what he says he is going to do as that is evident of what is going on at the SF parks.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Shapiro has changed it mind many times. So don't be surprised if he changes his mind again. From what I understand when he was CEO for Red Zone LLC., he changed his mind many times. Basically he works on a trial and error basis. He tries it; if it does not work he scraps the idea and tries something else.

Exactly. Shapiro said the Mr. Six will be toned down. He also said sometimes he (the company) will make mistakes, but will fix them.
I don't know ALL the Facts!!!!!!

I think that Mr. Six is being brought back to Six Flags because I have a frend that works in the games department @ SFGAm and he said that in all of the race games they still play the we like to party song and Mr. Six is still on the bottles. Maybe thats why @ SFGAm they play 50's 60's 70's and 80's music, so later on in the year they will play the we like to party song and bring him back in his Six Flags bus. But that is just my thought. I miss Mr. Six. Bring him back Please.

I think it he may be coming back because of lack of attended. Attendance has been down as far as I know at all Six Flags Parks. So I suspect one for the major reason is pricing and another one is marketing. They are not doing the heavy marking they used to do. They have cut the amount of commercials they air on TV. Now I think Shapiro has realized how Mr. Six was a very good Marking tool and now they are scrambling to make a commercial. The new commercial with the Justice League does not attract the cliental they need. Remember that most Women make the plans to go to Six Flags with their family. Do you think that woman like the Justice League? I have talked to many people and they have no clue who the Justice League is. Don't be surprised is Flash Pass goes back to Fast Lane next year.

^I think "Flash Pass" is very clever.....

That doesn't contribute to the conversation, but I felt like saying it.

(and i also stick by my theory about him in my previous post)
