Bombed out low pressure system will keep winds very gusty and very rainy over the next couple of days. System is "cut off" from the upper steering winds so it will acually meander WEST twords chicago. High winds and rain can be expected through Sunday.

On a side note, today provided some of the best Radar and Visible Sat. imagery I've gotten off the great lakes! :P

Gah, I'm not liking this low pressure system. Today's rain was more than enough.

It didn't really rain much here, but we had a good amount of wind. Trees and shrubs were blown, none of em down though. I thought I was just a nut when I thought this was a land tropical storm. Too bad the fun is over though. Its not everyday you live nowhere near an ocean and see a well developed low going West.

at least one tree got downed in Grand Rapids, MI the other night before the storm headed your way. its been raining for a couple days straight, but not lots of rain, just constant. it looks like the wind has finally settled down, though weather channel says its supposed to pick up again.

anyone have any idea what's supposed to happen on Monday? I've got a film test to shoot and it would be nice if we could shoot outdoors.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

It's been a light rain for the past 2 days, heavier rain tapered off late Thursday. Weather channel says rain and t-storms for the next 6 days, I'm really excited.
