Opening Day 2006

i will be at the kiss fm thing but i won't get to go on opening day because i don't have enough money. at least i get to go though hoepfully for the kiss fm thing.

I'll be at opening day more than likely. But theres always a chance something can go wrong, so you never know. But yeah, I'll be there on Sunday April 30th, also.

Anyone going that day, too?

Hey folks, Just wanted to chime in that i'll be there on the day of opening. I've heard several places to meet up, but i think we should try to get as many people on here as possible to meet up at a certain point in the day. It's be like an sfgamworld-palooza. Not all members, just those who are there and would bother walking over to check and see if anyone actually showed up.

Anyone have any Ideas?

JUST found out I will be there when they drop the chain to let people in the park.

I will be running to Iron Wolf as soon as I get in so I can't meet up with anyone right away but afterward I will probably go to the Demon right after.

like said before, i'll be there on saturday...not at the kiss fm thing though. I don't see the point of driving out there on friday night and then again on saturday. i have a few friends who i'm hanging with, and i'm sure i'll see others around there. don't plan on being at any of these meeting spots though. if i see you, then i see you, if not, then oh well.

I have a question and rather then starting a new topic for it and getting it locked like the countless others, I figured I'd save the mods the trouble and post it here like they say to do. Now for the question: This is the first time I've been to opening day and I have a voucher from Math-a-thon that has to be exchanged at Guest Services for a ticket, how early should I get there since I want to be there when the chain drops? My group is probably going to have a couple people in line for the tickets and a couple getting the tickets from vouchers, and I really want to run for a ride when the chain drops.

Get there around 9am, you should be fine. There is ususal a long line at Guest Relations on opening day. I belive the parking lot opens at 9am.
