Flat rides

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I've been hearing a lot of people say that they could do without flat rides. In fact they would prefer if the park had more coasters and less flats. I agree in some aspects but the day wouldn't be as fun without my favorite flat, Fiddlers Fling.Well what do you think about flats?

I love flat rides! In the future I would like to see another flat at SFGAm. I think a ride like Delirium would be good.My favorite flats at SFGAm are East River Crawler, Trailblazer and Triple Play.

Parks would suck without flats! They're practically the only way you can get a thrill in july without waiting at all! Besides, they're a ton of fun! ;)

Most people who say the parks don't need the flats probably can't handle the flats. They are probably the ones in the bathroom after the ride. I love flats, and agree they need more. I wouldn't mind not getting a coaster for a few years if we could get a nice flat package.

It would be sweet if SFGAm would ge ta Huss Land Of The Giants! in my opinion they should tear down the Wilderness Theatre since it is barely used and put a flat in there. It probably won't happen though.

I think that flats are an important part of a theme park. If there weren't enough flats, then the people who aren't yet 54'' tall would have paid over $30 for nothing. My favorite flat so far is Chubasco. That ride just makes me laugh hysterically. :D But I have yet to ride East River Crawler, Fiddler's Fling, and Orbit.

Orbit is good to. You have to try it, and Fiddlers Fling. You can't help laughing on that.

Flat rides are the second best thing in a park. I'd also like to see a flat ride like Delirium at PKI. My favorite flats are Giant Drop, East River Crawler, Fiddlers Fling, and Condor. Parks wouldn't be as popular without flats if you ask me.

Even though Giant drop is a flat I consider more of a coaster in a way because it's very intense.

Flat rides are the best. Some flats scare me more than coasters do, which I like. Favorites include the orbit, condor, richochet, fiddlers fling, and tripple play.

Yeah, Giant Drop is great too! Even though I was ready to have a heart attack at the top, I still loved every minute of it :D

A park needs flats. Parks need variety. They cant just be all coaster and nothing else. I want to see some flats installed within the next few years. I hope Jim Wintrode will install a coaster along with a few flats in one year. Ive talked to Jim Wintrode a few times and I think hes all about coasters  . If anyone ever gets a chance to talk to him dont mention ShockWave. He hated that ride. He first started working at the park when it was installed. He told me he wanted it out. He got kind of bitter after I mention ShockWave. I still kept the conversation going anyway. O yeah did anyone ever hear about the rumor that an X was gong to be installed in the park. I asked him about it and he said he didnt want an X in the park. I was shocked. I didnt have enough time to ask him why he didnt want one. This guy is crazy. We wont ever get anything really good installed while hes incharge.

Well, I don't blame him. I wouldn't want an X either... Isn't it only open on weekends now or something? Or is it every other day? Oh well, it doesn't matter. It's still too unreliable.

The last time I talked to him he was just standing in front of the place where they Fastklane. He was looking at all the people and I just went over to him and talked to him. Ive seen him around the park about 5 times now and talked to him 2 times. Hes a nice guy as long as you dont mention ShockWave.
