In the begining of August I will be making my first trip to So-Cal in over 10 years. Last time when I was there I only went to Disneyland, this time Disneyland is a maybe. :)August 3rd: Ill arrive at LAX and depending on how the flight goes, ill hopefully be able to get to SFMM that night and get a few rides.August 4th: SFMM from open to closeAugust 5th: SFMM from open to closeAugust 6th: Universal StudiosAugust 7th: Knotts Berry FarmAugust 8th: Disneyland or Disneyland's California Adventure (ill decide when I get off the shuttle to the park. :) )Then on August 9th Ill take a early morning flight back to Midway, where I will have to buy myself a new pair of legs. Not a very relaxing vacation, but it should be a fun one!

That sounds really cool and I hope you have a great time. I wish I was going. What is the difference between Disneyland and Disneyland's California Adventure?
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

California Adventure is Disney's new park, adjacent(separate admission) to Disneyland. I was at DCA Christmas Eve, and it wasn't too crowded and got in everything. I believe we even got in 3 rounds of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." California Screamin' was better than I expected, and Soaring over California was great as well. The Wild Mouse coaster there was my first, and it wasn't that bad. I'll probaby go back to DCA after Tower of Terror is up and running, or stop by on my next trip to SFMM.

Do you plan on touring the cities that you are going to? I think that you should take in what California has to offer (celebrity sighting, learning more about each city and its historical aspects, etc.). Anyway, I hope that you have a great and safe trip. :D
