Yep, that's BBrook. Yay, cause other than lightning and rain, we didn't get much last night.

Acually, none of the immediate Chicago metro is in a slight risk.

As of right now it doesn't look liek anything wants to develop in or around the Milwaukee area. It sure is warm today, though.

Tornado Warning in LaSalle County. I don't know if this applies to anyone, especially now since it is over with. But yeah. There's tornados over here. I am at work right now and I just had to take all of our guests and take them down to the emergency area because there was a tornado just north of Ottawa reportedly. I don't know about that, but the strong winds and mighty hail did do more than a little damage to our cars and the building. Some windows are busted out and the sign for the Super 8 out front, you know, the big ones you are supposed to able to see from the highway, came down in the parking lot and is leaning against the building. So yeah. That's my day. There's workers out there right now trying to fix everything. So yeah, just a few windows, cars beat up a little bit, and the big sign came down. I don't know yet what happened elsewhere in the city.

Just ran down to the park on the giant hill to watch lightning with some friends. It's damn near impossible to get a good shot of lightning with a still camera but this is the best I could do.

Yeah...cause...you know....a hill is the safest place to be from lightning

I was just looking at doppler, and I noticed that the storms are rotatating a lot, almost like a tropical system would. It's weird, because I've never seen them travel that way before. Is there a reason for this?

Yeah I know, I was noticing that too. Right now the storms are barely moving, it's interesting.

It's just a low pressure system. Tropical storms are low pressure systems too.

It was so much fun driving back home from Wisconsin yesterday. I got hit by four different decent sized storms along I-39 yesterday. High winds and heavy rain make driving fun!
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
