Japan's new Coaster looks like a 4D?????

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Cars cartwheel instead of sommersault.

Also Arrow/S&S has not offered 4-D for sale since X opened, they said they would not offer it til they found different materials for the trains that weigh less and offer the same strength, as the main issue for X is the sheer weight of the trains. I'd assume they found something and will again offer 4-D's for sale, though really no one would buy one anymore with Six Flags temporarily out of the new thrill ride business, Paramount up for sale, and Cedar Fair not liking prototypes.

After reading your post, I'm not to enthuised about B&M's patent either.

Who would have thought S&S Power would make the second one? :o

I thought that arrow went out of business right after they made X.

I thought so too, but S&S could have bought the rights to the 4D coaster from Arrow...

S&S bought the entire Arrow Dynamics Company including all of its assets (Patents etc.) Including the profitable spare parts division.

S&S also opted to keep the entire Arrow Product line, though the market for corkscrews, mine trains, and suspended coasters is rather minimal :)

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

It looks to me like X if it is a 4d cause if you go to RCDB.com it says it's not official.

As far as I know, a 4-d is the only thing that can do those inversions.
And trust me its's a 4d.

If you scroll down a little past the pictures, you can see that this will basically be X, but mirrored in a really awkward way.

I heard it will not be a clone. Arrow had another 4D design other than X that was called Delirium. A RCT2 versoin is on rcttown.com.

I agree with what all of you guys have been saying. It does look a lot like X, but with in my opinion a way better color scheme. It's coming along nicely, though.

As you can see, thats pretty close, but it seems X is a lot closer.

That RCT2 recreation has the Outside Raven completely oppisite of where it's being currently built.

No one can really tell if it's a Full-Over yet.
(Full-Over is the full 360 twist on 4d's, I mean FULL)

We have yet another update.
And it IS a Full-Full.

http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/vi ... &start=304

It looks to be coming along pretty well right now.
I can't wait to see it testing.

^For some reason, it didn't even look like a 4D to me until I saw those pictures. I really like the paint a lot better than X. How about those supports?

I dont that translates to anything because I have tried to translate it by hand and use a translator. It is written in the form of Romanji I believe, it may be a different language because there is nothing that translate to that from Romanji to English. (Romanji is Japanese but in English characters, for those who do not know what language that is.)

If you translate it to "Ee ja na ika", it means "yes wicked greens less than" in Romanji

ok Ive heard its "take it easy" or "aint it great"

Those make better sense than that no offense but we really need to find out what it REALLY is. Which may come with patience and time so well just wait and see.

Take it easy is a good one in my opinion though, because it totally wont you know? hehe. Well see however and i cant wait till testing and all goes down. :D

^I think out of those two, "ain't it great" makes more sense. It's a pretty neat name, that is when it's not written in English.

looks like primer rather than scrapes. They are probably priming all the joints and anything else unpainted along with any scuffs, scrapes and scratches in preperation for a final coat of paint before it opens.
