I also fall into the category of Avalanche is far better than hades. Avalanche is in my top 10 and is solid nonstop action, Hades however really doesnt excite me much, as once you reach the lifthill the ride is for the most part over(at least the really good part), ending is rather blah! also.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
Airtime on Avalanche is unreal. There is a good 30 seconds worth. All it is is speed hills, each and every one with ejector airtime and left turns and that's about it.

And you even get some airtime in the turns. Avalanche is amazing. Id go to Wisconsin Dells just for that...you should be able to spend as much time as you want on the ride.
Hades though I think is very overrated. The only airtime is before the lift hill and compared to Avalanche it's really not all that great. The tunnel is dark, so you can't tell whats going on and can't even feel the 90 degree banked turn. As a matter of fact I would bet most people that ride Hades don't even know there is a 90 degree banked turn on the ride. Don't get me wrong though, it's not a bad ride....it's just not a great ride.
^Avalanche is the best coaster in the dells in my opinion.
Hades is a good coaster. My favorite part was the section before the lift, and except for that and the tunnel, the ride was kind of meh. I think it should be known, but it is a little over rated.
