Hades is by far the most intense Woodie i've ever been on. It doesn't really have any long segments of hills, but every hill it has is packed with air. The Underground tunnels are amazing, as well as being on your side during them. Even the drop out of the station has some air for backseat riders.

This is a great woddie just packed full of fun the hole time and the first time you ride it you have know idea what going to happen. I say ride it in the front. Just hanging over the frist drop in the front is a great feeling. The front also is worth the wait but that is my opinion and there may be better seats which there probly are.

Oh wow, now that I've seen that picture that ride will probably scare the creeps out of me. Usually I'm not scared to ride anything but that thing looks insane.

These were the kind of comments I was expecting to hear. Going a little off topic here, does Mt Olympus have long lines for ther coasters?

Amber, I dont think that 90 degree turn is that bad becuase your going really fast.

Hades gets a decent line if you go in the middle of the summer.

That 90 is a gimmick in my opinion.
You really dont feel it.

Unless your lucky enough to get it with the lights on.

That thing was packed with airtime in the front, I can only imagine what the back would be like.

Check out Avalanche at Timber Falls.
That is the best coaster in the Dells.

Hades is an awesome ride. I'm glad that I got to go on it. And just so you know, you can't even tell that you are at a 90 degree banked turn. I didn't even know about that until after I rode it and saw pictures of it with the lights on. It's awesome though.

^Yeah, so if you only have to fork over a couple bucks to get a ride on it, why not? You could even do it in the evening after dinner or when you get there.

It's not a General Admission park.

Pay per ride.

Free Parking, it dosen't cost anything to walk around.
There isn't really anywhere to walk around though.

Heh.

i really liked Hades. I rode it as first ride in the morning, and it had such a rush for me. that drop is pretty steep, and when we went, the lights weren't on in the tunnel. I really liked it, but i've heard mixed reviews.

Hades is a great ride. Ride towards the back, there are several airtime hills on the way to the lift. The view up the lift hill is great. Definately ride both during the day and at night. The tunnel seems a bit more fun at night.

If you enjoy the front track of Hades before the lift, then definately go check out Avalanche at Timber Falls. That ride kicks all sorts of a** and is my #1 woodie. You can get an evening pass which give unlimited rides and golf after 5, ride Avalanche, the log flume (best log flume I've seen, make the "water coaster" tame), and play mini golf for a good couple of hours. On my last trip to the Dells I logged 42 rides on Avalanche just off of the evening pass. The ride ops at Timber Falls have a lot of fun running the ride, and they make it fun for you as wel.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

No, well at least when I rode it the lights were off. I hope they don't keep them on. That would suck. Hey, where did u watch the POV's? I would like to know because I would want to see how good this Avalanche coaster is. I've seen it before but I never went on it. I go to the Dells alot.

If I were you I would say screw Hades and go to timber falls!!! Buy a wrist band for like 20.00 and ride Avalanche all day long... Hades is just plain over rated!!

Jeeze. I've never ridden on Avalanche but I've seen it in person and there is no way that it could be that much better than Hades. Hades is a great ride, and I'm not saying that Avalanche is bad, because I know it's not, but it doesn't look like it could be better than Hades.
