Here the storm was kinda bad, it lasted from 11 PM til 2 AM and might have been kinda on and off... I only got about 4 or 5 hours at most of sleep last night. Can't sleep during thunderstorms usually. At some points the wind was really bad & you could hear the rain smacking against the windows.
I believe he lives south of Springfield, but if his area code for his phone number will help, it is a 217 area code, but that covers basically all of middle IL. But I think he is just south of Springfield. However, when I do a search on his cell phone number, it gives the number location: Springfield, IL

I just got off the phone with Josh, he is alive and well, he is at work since 8 am and working till midnight. His town that he lives in got hit really hard, but the tornado miss his house this time around, so luckily his house had very little damage. He is without power currently and is unsure how long it will be till it is restored. He is working a lot now, so he wont be around for a while, but he is fine and well and will be back soon, so that is good.

Ok, he gave me a website if you want to read and see pictures of the destruction down there. He said that the tornado missed his house by two blocks, and he got his powered back this morning, but probably wont be on here for some time because he has to be at work a lot cause of this disaster.
1. I am alive and well. I was home for less than an hour after returning from Rosemont before the Tornado hit.
2. I have worked every day since 3/13, this is the first day I have worked less than 10 hrs. Our crews have finally scaled back from 16hr shifts. Over 95% of our customers have been restored. I have over 400 pictures of damage done to our electrical grid, and other sites around town. Final verdict was two F2 tornadoes that struck within minutes of each other, downtown and north end of Springfield were spared.
I will post the entire story and some pics later this week when we slow down more. Tommorow I head out to the field to gather data on what construction now exists versus what was previously there.
3. I now have 6 inches of snow to go do the field work in. What the hell does mother nature have against my town? First a pair of tornadoes, then a frickin blizzard warning! Good news is the blizzard fizzled, but still give us a break here.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
I did try to warn you about the snow storm, but I didnt think it would dump 6 inches of snow on your town, I blame Jeff for the insufficient information.
