Ok i was @ SF like, last summer, but this is pretty cool

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Golden_Goodness on February 27th, 2006, 1:02 pm
sooo, my first day suxed, because it rained alll day and they had to close down some of the rides like off and on all day...

but the next day was great. Sunnie, around 75 and Packed to the max, but everyone was is HH so it was all good.

But here is the really cool part. So! i was in line for RB and all of the corrals were open and full, and the line was out side the gate! and me my friend and her mom were in line, and there were these other people behind us, a girl her friend and her aunt. SO all of these people were cutting in line, and we were fed up, so us the ppl behind us and a WHOLE bunch of other people all hooked arms and we were all like "NO YOU CANT GET PAST US!" it was the coolest thing that had ever happend at SF! && these people were trying to cut, like a TONE, and pple were just letting them pass. Yeah..it was sweet...LMAO

so yeah there is my story..
((BY THE WAY THIS IS RB_GURL))
i got a new sn :)

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Just tell someone who works there so they can call security.

Yeah wheres Great America security when you need them. That could have started a fight in the line and a bunch of guest could've been hurt specially with a line that long.

You shouldn't have to have security watching your tail to make sure you stay out of trouble. If two groups of civil, humane adults can't stand next to each other in a calm fashion, they shouldn't be in what is called a family environment.

Bad Typing.

What the heck are security out there for to walk around and do nothing if you ask me some guest would not be calm if a panic situation like a fight happens and when the park is crowded security should react quickly and try and ensure guest are safe specially if they want to maintain a family environment. Besides shouldnt these people cutting in lines be ejected off the park by security because its against park rules.

Security is definately there, just not in every major queue. It would be impractical and a bit imposing, and you'd need more than one for some rides like Batman and Raging Bull. I'm sure security reacts very quickly if a fight breaks out.

Basically, my post above points out that adults should be able to behave whether they are in eyesight of a security guard or not.

Security does act very fast in case of a fight.Last season,my cousin and this other guy that was trying to cut us on whizzer got on a fight in the stairs. One of the ride operators saw it and called security and they were there within seconds. The other guy got kicked out of the park and they took his season pass away for endangering the safety of the little kids behind them when they were fighting,my cousin just got kicked out of the park for the rest of the day because we had proof that the guy was trying to cut. :D
Whizzer is the best roller coaster in MY WORLD!

Some people take roller coasters as rides, some as passions,I take them as life!

^it also matters where the closest security guards are too. Sometimes if its a fist fight, Gurnee cops make it there faster than sf security.
