2005 Water Park Construction
Waterpark Facts

Six Flags Great America's brand new 13 acre, Caribbean themed Hurricane Harbor waterpark is now open. The waterpark is included with admission to Six Flags Great America.

Hurricane Harbor includes a 500,000-gallon wave pool; more than 25 speed, tube and mat slides; river rapids; family-sized raft rides; an erupting water volcano; a child-friendly play area; and the world's largest interactive waterplay structure featuring hundreds of water gadgets to keep guests soaked and busy.

The waterpark is located at the northwest corner of the park, and built on land that was once the bus parking lot. The entrance to the waterpark is located in Southwest Territory next to the entrance of Viper.
