I'm very excited to share with you all my podcast documentary "See the Carousel - the History of Great America!" Today I released episode one which covers the planning, development and construction of the park as well as a look at the park during its inaugural season! I hope you all enjoy!
I'm glad to see that others are also equally interested in the history of Great America! I'm actually working on a wiki (at https://greatamerica.miraheze.org) to document both Great America park's history so it's also nice to see others who are actively interested in documenting the brightest star in the USA!

The site looks great! Glad to see the history being preserved by so many interested parties! Looking forward to sharing episode 2 with you all on Friday!
I'm only 5 minutes into the first episode and this is a FANTASTIC show! The production quality, narration, storytelling, and music is superb. I can't wait to see what comes next! Also, feel free to use my sfgam music edits in your show. https://m.soundcloud.com/lucas-bennetts-benneluke
Semi off-topic but re: the above, this video has some interesting footage and some very rare musical tidbits such as an announcement for Circus Fantastic, many revues, and rare songs like the Hometown Square song (28:41), Orleans Place song, County Fair song, etc., and an instrumental version of the Carousel song, albeit in a somewhat degraded quality.

Currently "See the Carousel" is audio only, but we may look into making a video component or version at some point.

This is wild! I've never heard those songs. Fortunately I was able to track down most of the park area music as well as some others (Six Flags Party, Let it Shine etc.) but hearing stuff that's new to me and from Marriott is wild! Thanks for sharing.
Great job with the See the Carousel, Zach!! I just listened to Episode 1 and I echo what CliffHanger said! Very well done, professional, and entertaining!
Thanks for creating these!
