I think in one of the more recent SP episodes, Cartman got the entire rights to an amusement park and went on all the rides by himself all day long. Perhaps he came to SFGAm with his pal Kenny, scoping out the rides for a new coaster at Cartman's park and got stuck somewhere on Viper.
lol. If they were part of the theming everyone would wonder why they are there. Not many people watch SP but I do. I never saw those episodes. I havent watched SP lately. SP wouldnt really go with an old western theme.
Well before this gets too off kilter......... That paint just so happens to be the same color of the Raging Bull supports. Some of the parts were delivered unpainted becuase they had to be welded, etc... so they painted them right there in the lot.Mystery Solved.
And someone notices this 4 years later...I've been in that parking lot section (school busses for field trips) many times, and I don't ever remember seeing purple paint on the cement. But maybe becuase I wasn't looking. Oh well
Ummm.. it may just be me, but I don't believe they do touchups on the ground. I think that all the touchups are mostly done after assembly. Also, I was in the bus lot just earlier this year and saw nothing...
I went on Viper today and I saw two different lizards. The lizards were neon green with neon yellow stomachs. They are on the supports a bit under the track. I didnt see any SP dolls.
Those markings weren't there last year. It does look like an overspray of paint, but how would an overspray get ALLLLL the way over the that part of the parking lot? We should forget about this for a while, and just wait to see what happens.
Uh, yeah those markings have been there since Raging Bull opened. When I went to the commercial shoot for Raging Bull (first full train ever, mind you) I inquired about them. I was told that they were overspray from painting Bull. The paint didn't blow over there from where Bull is now. The pieces being painted were sitting on the ground.
Why Would they paint the track at the park it self, especially in the parking lot? When they paint a coaster it is still at the warehouse where it was constructed at. They have it in an extremely clean room so no dirt particles or anything can get mixed in with the paint. The only paintin they do at the park is touching up after the ride is built. Also did you notice that section with the purple paint is blocked off, and also like someone else said(I noticed this too) there is a section blocked off by American Eagle.
Although I have not seen it, perhaps it could be from East River Crawler? The repainted that, and it is purple. But I believe that it is probably where they painted parts for Raging Bull.
How could it be for a new coaster? Have you guys seen track anywhere? The park doesn't really have any places to 'hide' track. That's why Superman's track was out in plain sight...
Well if it isn't oversprayed paint which it probably is, it could be some sort of markings for where they're gonna put a new coaster or other type of ride in the future. That's just what I'm thinking, cause I could be totally wrong.
On my ride on Viper today, I did notice a frog/lizard/snake near the second drop. As the train coils around, you can see the green creature again. I did not find Cartman or Kenny from South Park, but I wasn't really paying attention(green creature was more visible).
