Probably the best show on Sci Fi network. It even aired on NBC a few weeks ago. I love this show, of course I am a nerd so you might not love this show. So who loves this show!??!

yo! I loved it last night when Adama drowned the baby. that was a great scene. I think Sci-Fi's current Friday line-up is one of the greatest ever. Firefly, SG-1, and Atlantis aren't as great as BSG, but they're all very good in their own rights.

I loved the episode with the Cylon Centurions(sp?) who were wrecking havoc on the Galactica, trying to wipe out the fleet...but the crew stopped them... :D

9-20 for the season 1 DVDs. I saw a commercial that said the European version was already out, but I don't know the difference between the European and US versions. I kow the Farscape DVDs had scenes broadcast in Europe, but cut out for the US version (differences in time slots) so maybe the BSG European DVDs have extra content as well.

Bob do you know whether or not season 1 DVD's come withthe 3 mini-series episodes, those are what really got me interested in the first place.

the mini-series has been available on DVD for a long time. I'm guessing the mini-series will not come on the season 1 DVDs. it'll just be the 13 episodes 33-Kobol's Last Gleaming Pt. 2. I know the creators consider the mini-series to be the pilot of the show and, therefore, a part of the first season, but I'm guessing you'll have to buy the mini-series seperately.

I'm glad to see with the latest episode that the producers and writers aren't afraid to kill off a main character. it gives quite a bit of realism and puts everyone's lifespans in question which adds drama. I just hope they don't over use it like the 24 people do.

Bumping my own topic here.

The season 2 finale was on friday and I'm still amazed by how many crazy plot jumps it made in 1½ hours. Anybody watch it here?

Basically it was amazing. And season 2 is airing again on every friday night, so if you want to educate yourself on the show, start watching.

Here is an article about plans for teh 3rd season. Some pretty cool ideas in here:

I was disapointed in the second half of season two as a whole. BSG is still better than pretty much anything else on right now, though.

I should really try to get into this series. I watched the 2 hour series premier when it was on and I found it good, but never really got into it after that. I guess for me, it swerved alittle to far off the orginal Battlestar Galactica, even though campy at times, it still wasn't a bad show. You just have to forget about Galactica 1980.
