Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.
Is it just me or is RCT2 better than RCT3?

I personally like RCT3 better, but that's definitely just me.

I like Tycoon 3 because of the 3d aspect and better selection of rides.
but i like Tycoon 2 for the PARK DESIGN PART
It seems so much harder to build a park in 3 then in 2. mainly becuase I STILL HAVENT FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET WATER!!!!
and then when your park gets to big. the game slows on. (well on my computer anyway) plus. you cannot build underground anymore which i miss.
so its a tie between 3 and 2.

yeah, I don't think either 2 or 3 is better. the original had the best scenarios. it was just fun to play, even though it was severely limited.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

I actually HATE RCT3. I don't know why either, maybe 'cause i'm used to the RCT 2 engine.

I love RCT3, I think I'd like it better than RCT2 if it actually worked well on my laptop ever. It doesn't, though.

I like RCT2 better simply for the reason that RCT3 is really slow on my cpu. Anyone have a way to fix this?

I didn't really like RCT3 at all. I'd play RCT2 or 1 any day over that. It didn't transfer to 3D nearly as well as, say, The Sims and Sims 2. The onride camera was pretty cool, but that's about it.

I agree with what some have said. Rct2 for the build part, RCT 3 for the fun part.
